“There are many wonderful things to say about Rescue Ranch, but what stands out most to me is the compassion and humanity that can be found there every day.

I have spent my entire life caring for animals—including senior dogs with medical needs, an insulin-dependent cat, a Boxer that had been abandoned, a rambunctious puppy that was facing euthanasia because there was no room to house him, and even a newborn kitten whose mother rejected him. Caring for animals has taught me that some of life's greatest rewards come from helping those who cannot help themselves.

That is exactly what Rescue Ranch does.

Whether you are a child visiting for the first time, a parent sharing an experience with your family, or an adult looking for a place of peace and perspective, Rescue Ranch offers something special. The staff and volunteers do far more than care for animals; they teach compassion, responsibility, stewardship, and kindness.

The Ranch is a healing place—not only for rescued animals (small and large, young and old, sick and healthy), but also for the people who visit. It reminds us that there is joy in helping others and that we all have the ability to make a positive difference in the world.

Michelle, Krissie, Nici, Maddie, Whitney, and the entire team are extraordinary people who genuinely live the mission they promote. Their dedication is evident in everything they do.

The animals, event center, educational facilities, and amazing playground and shelter area are a testament to people with both heart and vision. It is truly a blessing to everyone who visits.

I cannot recommend Rescue Ranch highly enough. Whether you stop by for a short visit or spend the day exploring all they have to offer, you'll leave with a greater appreciation for animals, community, and the power of compassion.

I would recommend calling ahead or emailing a staff member before your visit simply to ensure someone is available to show you everything this special place has to offer.

This place has been good for the animals it rescues, but I believe it has been just as good for those of us whose lives it has touched.

“Downtown Statesville provide you with a small town feel even though Statesville keep expanding. It still feels historic and North Carolina unlike Mooresville. Not a lot of shops or good restaurants. Mostly pawn shop and coffee shop from what I am seeing. More are coming though with more people moving into town.
Free parking, always a plus. There are seasonal events from time to time to boost tourism in downtown. It”

“It's literally the only stores in the state to buy liquor. So regardless if you want booze well then this is your destination. The staff are always nice and respectful and the prices do go up and down . You can always find a deal in there as well so overall it's not the worst place to find something to drink”

“We recently finished up the soccer season for our 4 year old, and we had absolutely the best time! Our coach, Haley Allison, was just wonderful getting the kids involved, active and focused. Not an easy task at all! But she sure makes it look that way, taking charge and pushing the kids to be a bit more active but also stepping back when it seems appropriate. I cannot wait to get back to sports. If you're looking for a great activity for your little one, I'd suggest you look into the Y!”

“Power cross ✝️ is celebrating 20 years this week. They work with young guys ages 7 to 18 helping with school work. And athletic sports such as baseball, football, basketball. They also provide meals and snacks for the kids after they come to the campus after school. Also they do provide transportation from schools. They also take the kids home. Also they have Bible study classes which the group of young men enjoy and get involved with. This is a very good program operating under the power of God and generosity of donors that donate to the ministry. If you would like any info or would like to learn how to become a volunteer or would like to give a donation please make contact with power cross ministry in Statesville nc. God bless and have a great day.”
