When I first began renting here, it was under different ownership, rental fee was reasonable and office staff was available and helpful. When SafeNest Storage became the new owner, cost increased and customer service declined. When I began renting my unit in the fall of 2020, the monthly fee was $254. It increased by over 100% in just 2 years time to $514 per month. With the increase in rent came the decrease in customer service. Calls were answered by a company rep off site. If you need local assistance, you had to leave a message. One extremely frustrating incident occurred when I went to pick up some things from my unit and realized that someone has entered my unit from an interior door. My personal belongings had been moved aside and a piano had been left in my unit. I immediately tried to reach someone from the company, but no one called me back for several days, and only after I made repeated calls. It appeared that none of my items were stolen or damaged, but allowing access to my unit was unacceptable. When I did finally speak with a local manager, he agreed to meet me to have a lock installed and the piano removed. I took off work to meet at the arranged time and waited for over 30 minutes, but he didn’t show or let me know that he needed to reschedule. I asked to be compensated in for my time and the poor security, and was told they would consider giving me a discount on the months rental fee; however, they never followed through. When I returned to move everything out, I found that the ceiling had leaked and destroyed several pieces of my furniture. I had reported the damaged ceiling previously, but because it was not leaking at the time, they did not attempt to repair. When it did leak, I was told that because I had not opted into their insurance (for an additional monthly fee) they were not responsible for the damage to my furniture. I definitely do NOT recommend renting here!

I’m Adrianna, born & raised in this city! This is the absolute best storage company in Statesville! Prices are the lowest, customer service is the best, and the location is convenient! Also Mr. Chris personally goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect!

Chris has always been helpful and pleasant, always a smiling face. I have been a customer for a few years and had no complaints except the rates have increased enormously, these are difficult times for people and I am surprised at how much my rates have increased, need to plan alternatives.

Absolutely Horrible Storage Company! Raised rates over double in ONE year! Just this month alone my rent went from $145.00 to $215.00! On top of that some big company that has zero care except greed has taken over. Horrendous customer service! All you get on the phone is a person with broken English telling you they will take a message. You can not talk to anyone at the storage location. Keep in mind this: they do not maintain their units. My door does not even open well! No power. No lights. No heat or AC. All this (nothing) and they double the rent in 1-year! Trust me, stay away!! Read my reviews. I review good and bad. This place is despicable!

Chris was excellent. Another owner was there and made my gf and I feel welcomed to their establishment. Love the short interaction and made us feel like we could trust them with our personal belongings.

While the storage facility is kept clean, Linda has been the most unfriendly person I have ever dealt with in a public setting. Once, it took longer than an hour to unload and load our property and she came and told us that we had been there long enough and we needed to leave because we "might block" someone else's door. Once I parked my truck (that was too big to park in a fast food restaurant parking lot)in the deserted parking lot and walked across the road to get something to eat. When I got back, Linda had posted a note on my vehicle saying I wasn't allowed to park there. She knew who's truck it was because she put my name on the note. Another time, I was loading some of my stuff and there was a storm that knocked out the power to the gate. When I called the number for help, Linda told me I would have to wait..She was in Mooresville. These are just 3 of about 8-10 run-ins I've had with Linda. But all have been like this.

I needed a place to store my new pontoon boat and Fourth Creek Mini Storage fit the bill. Linda was very helpful and answered all of my questions. So far the process has been very good.

Fourth Creek Mini Storage was one of a few companies I considered when looking for a unit recently. Their convenient location couldn’t be beat in my opinion, so I decided to go in and discuss my options. Linda was amazing from the start - she was helpful, organized, and one of those people you immediately feel like you’ve known forever. I had a problem with something fitting in my unit (at no fault but my own), and she was more than accommodating in helping with the logistics of what I could do. I would highly recommend Fourth Creek to anyone in need of a storage unit! Linda will take great care of you.

Linda was nice and helpful although Rates and promotions are sketchy at best online rates and promotions have fine print that are no where to be found on website.
