Just wanted to purchase some paint samples and when my daughter and I approached the counter the associates working completely dispersed. The older gentleman looked at like we had 3 heads or maybe felt we didn't belong in that store or he didn't have to help us. The sad part was that no one acknowledged us. Having a small child witness this was definitely heartbreaking. I finally was able to stop the other associate and she was able to help. But this should not have happened anyway.

I purchased a stove at Lowes in Statesville 2 weeks ago for my 97 year old dad's house. They were to deliver the following Sunday from the Hickory Lowes. I was not told when I purchased it that it would be delivered from the Hickory store. They promised to deliver it the following Sunday. They didn't show up. Anyways after numerous phone calls, rude employees and broken commitments to bring it, we still don't have the stove. I am so fed up with dealing with such poor customer service. What is wrong with Lowes? This is the poorest customer service I have ever dealt with. I am so sick of dealing with such incompetence. I will be returning to the store to get a credit on my Dad's credit card. I will never buy any else from Lowes.

The ultimate in disregard for customers. We bought an LG washer yesterday, 9/9/2022, with the promise that the washer would be delivered today, 9/10/2022, between 2:00 and 6:00 pm. We even bought the required new hoses for installation. At 4:45, I called to check the status of the delivery. After 30 minutes of being on hold and transferred to extensions where no one answered, I finally got hung up on. I called back, and the line again went dead. Called a third time and asked to speak with a manager, and again I was put on hold. After 10 minutes on hold, I drove to the store, still on hold. I walked in the store still listening to the hold music--30 minutes at this time. I asked to speak to a manager in person and waited. After my second request, a manager walked up. In a matter of seconds, she looked our order up and informed me that indeed delivery would not happen for a week. The blame was placed on "the system" despite the fact that "the system" does ONLY what it is told, no more and no less. No responsibility was accepted; no apology for being lied to was offered; no apology for being placed on a hold that nobody ever had any intention of answering was offered; no apology for the hours of my life spent chasing down their incompetence was offered. The only apology was that Lowe's was sorry for my experience--not their actions, but my experience. Home Depot across the street may offer no better regard for customers, but it can't offer any less.

I went in looking for 3 different tools and bird seed. Found the bird seed easily because I've bought it many times. But when I went looking for the tools I needed I could find them. Then I couldn't find anyone to help me. I asked a couple of employees that were walking by but I guess they couldn't hear me speaking for the headphones in their ears so I gave up on them. Then I went to leave with just my birdseed and they only had self checkout lines open unless you went to the ends of the store in lumber or lawn and garden. Both had long lines. I left my cart and left. I'm tired of stores giving up on customer service. I'm giving up on this store.

I hate to post this, because I normally like Lowe's. But, the service here sucks. No other way to describe it. Service is slow and most of the associates are oblivious to what's going around them.

Had a bad experience with a cashier yesterday , left a shopping cart full and just walked out! Went across the road to Home Depot had great customer service and also saved money ????????Lowe’s home improvement!!!

I have had a horrible experience with this store. I ordered a dryer online on Monday set for delivery today between 2pm-6pm. I received a text message at 1:54 telling me my delivery would be there in 15 minutes. At 4:15 pm I called because it still hadn’t arrived. Apparently it never made it on to the truck today. I have called this store repeatedly trying to speak to a manager & have sat on hold for a combined hour with no manager ever picking up the phone. I’m now just trying to call and cancel the order (in the time Lowe’s has ignored me, I located the product at a competitor chain, purchased it& my husband has already picked it up). Absolutely unacceptable customer service and I will be filing a complaint with corporate. Do not give these people your business, they do not value it.

My husband and I purchased a washer two days ago...supposed to be delivered today between 8 and 12. He gets an automated reminder with the window changed to 2 to 6. We specifically chose the earlier option due to his work schedule. I called, they said it would come within the window we chose...then he gets a call from the delivery person saying our appointment is at 2, but he will TRY to get it out sooner, or we could schedule a different day...REALLY? Oh, and did I mention the $60+ delivery charge for them to come 16 miles to our home?? We did get that removed, but the entire experience has soured me on this location.

We visited Lowe's yesterday for the first time since the lockdown started in mid-March. We wore our masks, had our long shopping list, and hoped the store wouldn't be too crowded. We expected that some customers might not wear masks and might not socially distance, but never expected that 3/4 of the staff would wear their masks around their necks and pay no attention to social distancing. It was so bad, we grabbed a few things we really needed and left as quickly as we could. We paid in the garden center - none of the employees there had their masks on. We are in our sixties, trying desperately to avoid getting sick - Amazon will be getting our business I guess.
