Pupusas need a different type of cheese, curtido needs to marinate more and more vinegar, drinks were good, team was nice, but took too long to bring food out. Overall it has potential, but would not go back.

Ordered 8 pupusas, got there & they only had four. They apologize & offered to make me the other four in which I declined because the current ones would have been getting cold! They confirmed they were pork pupusas, got all the way home over 40 minute drive to find out they weee just cheese! This happen on another occasion as well, giving me the wrong ones. The pupusas are good, but their customer service is beyond terrible, they ALWAYS mess up and I most likely won’t visit again just because this was the second time!

This place has surprisingly good food. I was expecting some chain, prepackaged microwave and serve nonsense. I'm glad to be wrong.

Food is really good and comes out fresh. They don’t pick up phone calls anymore so it’s not convenient for take out, but the restaurant also doesn’t have comfortable dining space.

Excellent food, friendly service, family atmosphere. Worth the very short detour on a long distance drive north on 77. This is truly authentic cuisine, and place was full of locals. Flavors were great, we had ground beef dish, chicken dish and burrito. All served with tasty cabbage salad, rice and plantains. We shared some cheese pupusa also, yum. We will definitely come back next time through.

First time at Maya and it was great. There's a buffet to pick from and you can order food. Got the chicken burrito it was really good. Very fresh ingredients. The service was exceptional.
