This is a very good Staples in Statesville, NC on Turnersburg Highway. I like this location. I have stopped a couple times when I’m in the area to print things and I bought a printer here once.They do a very good job.. I must say though, I did feel a little uncomfortable on my most recent visit..What happened was I was browsing looking at printers and different items. A male employee (I won’t write his name, not trying to shame or embarrass him) walked over to me and said “What’s up man” and said it had been a long time since he’d seen me. He asked how I’ve been and asked if I’m having a good day. I said I’m doing fine. He asked why I hadn’t called him and said I let him down because he had been waiting on a call from me. I just kind of stared at him with a puzzled look because I honestly didn’t have any clue who he is. He finally said “Sorry if I bothered you, I didn’t mean to interrupt your shopping” and said to let him know if I need help. He walked away with a rude look on his face like I had offended him or something.I finished my browsing and left. When I got out to my car, my phone started ringing. I answered, it was that guy from the store! He called to apologize if he came off rudely or in a negative way. I told him it’s alright to not worry about it but it was kind of weird.. especially since he somehow has my phone number.I barely remember him..I must have given him my phone number but I don’t remember giving it to him.I hope you guys can train your people to be more professional. He treated me like his best friend from high school or something. Which would be nice, I guess.. if I could remember him well..but I don’t really remember him hardly at all!Don’t call a customers cell phone when they don’t even really remember you or remember giving you their number.I’m a very friendly guy and I love making friends but this isn’t the correct way to go about it, my man!

This review is strictly based on ONE employee! I just called and had the most amazing customer service. Lindsay was absolutely the nicest person and completely made my day. She went above and beyond the typical customer service role and exceeded my expectations. I called to find out if Staples carried mail boxes that could be mounted to a home, and Lindsay was polite and courteous with her answer. She was also very friendly. She was personable and we even made a couple of jokes. She helped with my question and made me smile. I feel like we could be friends and I don’t even really like people. She also restored some of my faith in humanity! Staples is lucky to have her as an employee! Thank you Lindsay for all of your assistance! It was very much appreciated!

My recent visit was superb and Dora in printing assisted me and if I could give her a 10 star review I would! She's great! But I have to say that all employees are always so helpful! I have all my business needs printed here in the Statesville NC store and I also purchase my labels, cards, etc in store. Thank you Staples for everything! And your prices are reasonable especially for us small business owners.

They don’t even deserve the one star. I’ve purchased most of my office supplies from Staples. I needed to return four items and spent over an hour in the store trying to return those items. I did not have my receipt with me but after waiting for 30 minutes for them trying to return items I contacted my secretary and had her send me the receipts. They still Could not do the return even with the receipt. The cashier was super apologetic but the manager was absolutely useless. No help at all and frankly somewhat rude. You’ve lost my business. I’ll buy it on Amazon returns are no problem at all

People really need to give this place a break. The staff work hard enough. They are severely understaffed. Whenever I'm in the store, all I can hear are customers arguing and being difficult with the friendly staff. The staff do the best that they can, given the situations, and are not given enough credit. Their return policies make sense. Their warranty options are just fine. Their stock is expectedly slim. Nothing about this place is the fault of the employees. Be nice to the people that bother to show up in the first place; you never know when you'll walk in again. Don't make the few people here feel like quitting.

I go here all the time for their print services. Dora is awesome, I wouldn't get anything done if it wasn't for her. I'm sure she cries internally when she sees me walk through the door because I never seem to be able to get anything to work myself. Even though she was busy she went out of her way to help me with the printer and when that didn't work, made sure she got my order printed herself. She's also called me before printing sometimes to make sure I didn't make a mistake.. she's just awesome. I seem to need her help every time. I'm always happy to see her working when I come in and I've recommended a lot of people because of her.

Went to purchase a laptop tonight. Store hours listed online says they close at 8pm. I got there at 6:30 PM and there was a sign on the door that due to staffing issues they are closed at 6 PM. Maybe they should have updated their website. They just lost a sale.

I ordered these fliers on Friday April 8. I absolutely have to have these by Wednesday morning, April 13 to distribute to our business partner locations to put out for customer view. I was barely greeted or acknowledged. The girl working there absolutely hates her job and it exudes from her. The older man that came up to get something else asked her if she was okay two times. She mumbled something about hating her job and not wanting to be there. I picked these flyers up Monday morning around 10:30. They were cut off on all sides and front and back. Not professional at all. QR code not scannable. She couldn't find them at first. Then once she found them she just tossed the envelope on the counter and walked away. I took them out to make sure they were right, and obviously they were not. She tried to ignore me. I was calm and civil the entire time. I mentioned the issue and she said "it's what you gave us" and walked away. I stayed there and waited for her to come back around and acknowledge me, as now she is working on another persons order. Once she acknowledged me, or I asked about it again, she insisted I uploaded it wrong and that there are two borders and you have to stay within those borders. I 1000% know this and 1000% did. I let her know that the files and sizing were made by a professional graphic designer and artist and I have not had issues in the past with this. At this point it's my word against hers and I'm sure they see this all the time, so she probably thought I was d*** and it was my fault. She then walked away and picked up the phone annoyed and quietly said "I need a manager up front." She didn't tell me a manager was coming. Just a walked away again. When a manager finally came she was clueless. She had no idea so she went back to talk to another manager. While she did this I found my confirmation email with the file image of one of the sides and it was not cut off and should have never been cut off. When the manager came back I showed her. She said to just send the files to their email and they would reprint them. I stated my timeline and asked if they could have them done by the end of the day. Online states that orders placed by 2pm can be ready same day, yet I placed my order correctly Friday, 3 days prior, and the manager says she doesn't think so and shrugs it off. I ask when I can expect them and she told me to send the email and they would notify me when they are done. I go out to the car and send the two requested files from my phone less than 5 minutes after they were requested. I hear nothing back. It's Tues morning. I call at 10:30 and explain the situation and ask if they are ready. The same girl who hates her job answered the phone. She barely got out the words "yeah, they're ready" and hung up. I send my manager to pick them up less than an hour later. She tells me that she got the same treatment from the girl but doesn't think it's personal she just hates her job, apparently. She opens the envelope to check them and 13 out of the 25 I ordered were cut crooked and cut off some of the image. My manager asks to have them reprinted and waits. The same girl cuts the new ones but this time leaves them crooked but not cut off. So my manager takes them and intends to cut them herself with our paper cutter. I'm not convinced they will cut cleanly with our cutter but we are on a tight timeline and felt if we asked again, we'd be met with wrath. I will never use the staples copy center in Statesville, NC again, esp as long as she works there. Part of me feels bad for her. What is making her hate her job to that severity? Something is wrong with either the management or the work environment or she's going through something personally. Either way, I think it needs to seriously be looked into and I hope she gets the help that she needs, whatever that may look like. The customer service on the print side of the store in Statesville is not good. They could definitely use some training on how to deal with the customers in a professional manner. My personal experience was a one star if that. The day time employees made it clear they did not want to help. I was the only one in the department ?♀️ and there was two of them. The guy acted annoyed that I needed help and the girl was talking so fast I couldn’t keep up.

Walked up to the door at 8:54 to buy one ink cartridge to print pictures my daughter wants for a friend present. Door says open until 9:00. The employee saw me approach and locked the door anyhow. I suggest you arrive early. Wal-Mart, here I come.

Staples dose not make this stuff they only offer it for sale like walmart. It's not their fault it's junk from CHINA you can not find any thing made in the good old USA if you do you can't afford to buy it

I went into staples to buy a printer for my small business. I was sold one that I was told would last me a long time. A $400 Cannon ImageClass. At checkout I also purchased the Asurian program that was offered to me at a expense to make sure if something happened to my printer- it would be fixed or replaced. Here we are 4 months later.. my printer is JUNK after sitting on its stand and never even being bumped. I call staples to get it figured out.. they told me I’m on my on. Call Cannon and Asurian yourself. Goodluck.So I wasted my money on a printer and on their stupid Asurian Program that is junk itself also. Complete waste of money- complete waste of time- complete waste of air. Customer service is terrible.
