This is the only Walmart around and I'm glad it's as nice as it is. It's normally clean and the inside workers are pleasant. They corral the carts all the time and pick up garbage so their portion of the parking lot is tidy. We do more ordering from the app nowadays than shopping inside and either pick up or have it delivered. The people who do the shopping for you, do a good job and substitute smartly. The ones who deliver always have safely wrapped items and nothing has been broken yet. So far, we are pleased with this store.

5 stars for the deli hot case and the well stocked and clean and orderly store! At around 6:30 pm I got a plate of General tso chicken. The the food is fresh and very good and a very appreciated low price for a whole dinner. Additionally, the young lady who plated my food was very helpful and nice. Thanks Walmart!

Not my favorite WalMart and while it does have a lot of items I occasionally buy but not as well stocked as other Walmart's in the area. Where it is located makes it a hassle to get to. Not convenient and traffic always a mess. Absolutely worst time to go is the first Friday of the Month, especially it if raining. Government checks come out then and everyone heads to WalMart. Friendliness of the staff varies. Was horrible at first and gradually was getting better till Covid hit and now it's like a ghost town finding someone to help you or ask a question. Event Customer Service in the front of the store makes no attempt to be of assistance. About being well stocked, we needed a particular brand of a personal care lotion recently to use as a standard for a product we were developing. They did not have it but Mooresville did so we bought it there. No attempt to go into inventory list to check availability anywhere. Try to avoid this one if I can.

Can I give zero stars I would. This store does not care for their community or customers. No order to wear masks when most all others do not. I will call Mooresville, NC strore and see if they are. I will boycott this Walmart!

This is the only location in my hometown so it is my go-to store but only for convenience reasons. I usually leave disappointed because the store didn't have what I needed and I drive to a Walmart in a nearby town. For the size of this store, the selections are very limited. The store does have Women's, Men's and Children's clothing and shoes, there is a Grocery, Pharmacy, Garden and Automotive section. I do not use any of these services from this store. The store also has a Vision Center, an Eye Exam Office, a Bank, a Hair Salon and a Nail Salon. I currently only patronize the Vision Center and the Eye Exam Office. There is also a Money Center in the middle of the store front across from Customer Service. I occasionally will grab stamps or a money order here just out of convenience. I just want more from this Walmart because it's in my hometown and I don't want to drive 30 minutes to another but the nearby locations do offer a better selection and I leave with products in hand 9 times out of 10! If I do by chance find something on my list and I make it to the checkout area, I will choose self checkout or go through the Garden Center because the other lines are either too long or the staff are not very friendly! I've started using the Walmart App and having items shipped to my home because of this store's lacking!

I like Walmart both Statesville and Mooresville NC. BUT not happy with their pick up orders. My mom sent me a gift for Thanksgiving, she sent it for pickup at Statesville instead of Mooresville which is closer to me. Beside that a long time on chat (phone call not available) all the questions, just to be told, no pickup store can not be changed; unless it's canceled. My mom had trouble makers the order ( she hates computers) let alone cancel n re order. No, I'll tell her not to order again for pickups.

Went in last night to get a few things and they closed the right side of the self check and only had 3-4 open on left self check opened along with 2 main registers open and there was a line at all registers/self checks as well as hearing other customers frustrated because they have to wait when it's not even a typical busy time.

This place will never see me as a customer again had my wife not needed the stuff I was picking up at the last visit I would've walked out. Maintenance man cleaning the floor nearly ran me over and couldn't even say excuse me. The night manager sounds goofy and certainly is inept at problem solving. No staff to assist customers and self check out self bag self pay and enter at your own risk apparently what a joke and Walmart has the audacity to call itself a business let alone deal with the public. I for one will shop elsewhere from this day forward no matter how far out of the way or price.

Do computer Auto-Scan check-out registers represent PROGRESS? NO!!!! Bought 2 cheap DVD movies tonight: Road House (Swayze) and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Cost: $3.76 each. STEP 1: I go to new battery of auto-scan check-out cash registers. (Been using these for 10 years in other states and large cities...so I know exactly what I'm doing.) I scan the two items, total comes, but error sign pops up freezing the transaction: "PLEASE WAIT FOR ATTENDANT TO HELP WITH TRANSACTION" STEP 2: So I begin waiting. I look over the short partition wall where there are 6 other machines and only 2 Walmart blue vests there to assist all the customers. STEP 3: Waited some more.....got tired of killing 5 more minutes, so I called out to one of the girls wearing a vest in the other corral of registers: "Can someone help me over here? Your machine says wait for attendant!" Woman acknowledges me and says she'll be right there. STEP 4: One minute later blue vest young lady approaches me. I explain: "All I want to do is buy these 2 cheap DVDS and then go home. I'm paying cash...what's the problem." Now get this everyone...you are not going to believe this one...She says, "It won't let the transaction get paid for and completed because it needs to check your age." W-h-h-a-a-T??????? What the heck is this all about. Cashier's answer: "Well some movies have an age restriction". My answer: "Look at me, I'm 67 years old!! Do you think we really have a problem here about my age????" Her answer, "Well that's the policy." Then I tell her Wal-Mart has really blown their PR, customer good will and happy shopping experience with THIS ridiculous impediment to my buying experience. STEP 5: She says, put your credit card in this slot. I pull out a credit card then suddenly realize, "NO, I"M PAYING CASH for this small purchase. COMPUTER screen goes to fade out mode and freezes up. Blue Vest lady begins punching buttons. Then she calls for another assistant. I grab my 2 DVD's, walk away and say, "Forget it...I'll pay elsewhere." STEP 6: Elderly cashier with long matt of frizzy whitish-yellow hair in a blue vest walked by and made some smart aleck comments to my attendant . Her wise a_ _ comments were obviously designed at insulting me for being impatient. After all, why did I have the audacity to question Wal-Mart store policies. SO I let wicked witch of the North know (without yelling or cursing) that her attitude wasn't reflective of a good store associate sales person. She snapped back sarcastically "Oh...I just love working here." This whole experience was a bit like a 3-legged cat trying to bury doo-doo on a frozen lake. I won't buy anymore DVD's from Wal-Mart ever - as well as many other things. They are all too over-priced anyways. I recommend everyone stick with eBay or Amazon for better prices, easier transactions, and FAR BETTER movie inventories. Final message to Wal-Mart Corporate: Your new auto-scan service is useless and infuriating to customers. Hire more trainees, program the software to work better. Get your policies painted in large sign formats and post them in the DVD movie department EVERYWHERE! "NOTICE: All DVD purchasers must be interrogated by our gatekeepers at the cash registers. Driver's licenses must be presented for buying movies. "Achtung! Do you have za paperz? Whot??? No paperz? Das machines ist nicht fer mittengrabben by das dumbkoffinz!! Sadly, there is nothing more frightening than ignorance in action. If given a chance, Wal-Mart management would screw up a 2 car funeral!

ZERO STARS!!! Can't stand this Walmart. Every SINGLE time I go in here I get followed around like I'm doing something wrong. Also, bought one of those 200 dollar robo-vacuums and I get it home to find it has been used. Hair, dirt and everything inside the vacuum. Avoid this place, it's not worth the hassle.

I really like this Walmart. It's so convenient since I live so far from everything else. I like that it's fast when you're standing in line. Never a long wait, unless someone is buying half of the store, lol.

Hate. Walmart. The associates are beyond miserable, unhelpful and I actually was walking toward an associate to ask a question and she, literally, ran the other way. Statesville needs a Target!

I couldn't do negative stars.....I'd have to dig a trench. Do yourself a favor and find a real pharmacy with full service.

I avoid going here as much as I can. I visit about once every other month. The produce section is horrible! Flys and rotting (or none at all) produce. On average, I find three open lines which causes a headache when lines extend across the main aisle. The employees are fine considering their work environment.
