If you’re looking for a truck and somehow end up at Brookbank I would highly recommend having it checked by a mechanic beforehand. I found what I thought was the perfect truck for me there but boy was I wrong. First I’ll start by saying the only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because Rick was friendly, the buying process was painless, and they do have some very clean trucks. I purchased a 2015 F150 Platinum from them back in July. About 2 weeks after owing it I started having all sorts of electrical issues. I called Rick and told him what was going on and he said to bring it back and he would have one of his shops look at it. Which was a nice gesture but I also live 2 hours from there and I was not about to drive a truck with no ac 2 hours in the middle of July. I thought maybe it was just a fluke and I’m pretty mechanically inclined so I managed to resolve that on my own. Ended up being a broken wire in the seat back that was shorting out the ms can network, no big deal was basically free to fix. That’s when things got really bad. Not long after that it started having a really hard shift going into 4th gear.I tried changing the fluid but I think at that point it was too late. About 2 weeks later it went out completely. I also noticed the engine started knocking slightly which progressively got worse. I’m pretty particular about who works on and what parts go on my vehicles so I decided to take it to my local Ford dealer. Turns out the truck needed cam phasers, timing set, water pump, and a new transmission. 12,300 dollars to have it fixed by Ford. They were also gracious enough to sell me their junk warranty from Freedom Warranty. I won’t get into all of that all I can say is if you are thinking about purchasing the warranty make sure you read the contract before you buy. The little pamphlet they show you makes it seem like it’s way better than it is and when you actually read the contract they don’t cover anything( lesson learned not reading the contract beforehand). I bought the vital plan for 3500 and it’s a 5 year 100k mile coverage and they did end up approving the claim but they would only cover 6,000 of it due to their limit of liability which is listed in the contract. So basically I’ve had the truck since July maybe drove it 6 weeks before it was no longer drivable. The warranty process takes forever and I still don’t have it back after 2 months at the dealer. Oh yea and I have to pay 6,300 dollars to have it fixed after already paying 30,000 for the truck and another 3,500 for the terrible warranty that they talked me into buying. Looks like I’m not the only one with this experience so hopefully this review will save somebody else from having an experience like mine

Any positive reviews must be friends snd relatives. What I can say positively is they were friendly. However, the truck we bought has all kinds of electric issues, from backup camera, radio, heat problems, lane change system on mirrors, the transmission had to be rebuilt-4k, another 1400.00 on manifold/exhaust leak( both sides 2800) and we’ve only owned this truck since December2022- last year! (it’s September 2023) Paid too much thinking it was solid.Oil seals, burnt oil coming up through the hood. They did take care if that with in first week first. The first 60 days they had the truck longer than we did!!!!Their insurance Will Not let them provide a loaner truck!!!STAY AWAY, friendly but deceptive!!!

What a fantastic place to do business with! The whole process of buying our truck was super easy. The atmosphere is extremely laid back and my girls had an awesome time playing "office" at an empty desk. Couldn't say enough good things. Thank you so much Brookbank Auto for a wonderful experience.

In response to the owner allegedly reaching out. You did reach out after I called multiple times sent multiple messages and a complaint to the attorney general. The truck is still not repaired so unless you plan to pay to fix it right for free don’t reach out.Look at the PSI setting “tune” is at 40 PSI no wonder the hose exploded but you knew that when y’all passed it for inspection.

This dealership had great reviews and inventory. Any customers who had complaints seemingly received a fair resolution. Purchased a vehicle two days later truck broke down. Reached out to Rick about the issue and let him know the vehicle had to be towed was told to call back once we found out what the issue was. Called back let Rick know that the EGR was unplugged and possibly tuned with EGR delete. Truck is still spewing oil which is another issue aside from the EGR. No mechanic wants to touch the truck due to the EGR delete. Rick told my husband "it passed inspection" Disappointed is an understatement.
