Made the mistake of buying a boat out of state. They told me the boat included a trailer. Their show room photos did not show a trailer. Being a first time new boat buyer, I purchased the boat because of how nice they were to deal with up front. I did receive some pre delivery photos of the boat on the trailer but didn't notice a few things. They dragged the engine across the shop floor and tried to blame it on my transport company. They didn't connect a negative battery terminal causing all of the electronics to dim and shut off randomly. There were a couple chips in the gelcoat on the rear jump seats. The trailer they sold me is 3 feet too small for my boat. Trailer is rated for 23ft max and my boat is 25ft 5 inches. Boat sticks off the back of the trailer nearly 3 feet to the transom, 5 ft to the engine. They want me to take the boat back up from FL to NC so they can swap the trailer. I'm not paying $3600 for a round trip for them to fix their issue. My recommendation is don't buy a boat from outside your local area. Much less buy one from Anger's Marine. Nice up front, but a lot of stuff they won't tell you and then claim "Well you saw the boat and you were ok with it". I guess that makes it right?

I was looking up their hours this morning and realized I had never left Angler’s a review. My wife and I were in the market for a new boat after our CS23UE was no longer a good fit for us because of my back surgery. We ran into the factory rep from Key West at a boat show, he recommended we reach out to Anglers as our local KW dealer. Let me first say this was the early months of Covid and things were tough. After a shaky start with a sales person at a satellite location, it was recommended by the rep that I contact Wes. At that point, my best ever boat purchase experience began. Covid was in full swing in the summer of 2020. They had a production slot about to get started and we were able to put a deposit down and a I’ll pick all of our options. The staff was awesome going through all the options and even recommending a couple things we had not thought of. We also had a boat to sell, but we use it a lot so we did not want to sell it until we knew the new boat was ready. When the boat left the factory, they called and told us about 2 more weeks to have it ready and asked if we were ready to sell our boat. I sent a bunch of pictures with all specs and less than a week later they told me they had a buyer. We left the beach that weekend and dropped the old boat off for them to sell it. A week later we stopped by to pick up our new boat and the process was smooth. I did find a scuff mark on it that looked like a potential factory issue and they had a detailer there in less than an hour to fix it perfectly. Now three and a half years later, when we run into them at the boat shows our salesman still knows us by name and speaks to us. Last show my wife wasn’t with me and I was asked about her by name. We had one minor service hiccup, but they immediately made it right with no questions. There are so many components and unknowns with a boat there will always be hiccups and communication failures, and that one very well could have been my failure but it was still corrected to my benefit. When I see Wes in passing even at the grocery store he always speaks and talks for a moment. I have recommended them many times and have a couple neighbors the decided to buy boats from them also. This is a great dealership with real values, and I really believe they let their personal values lead the way they run the business. I usually avoid dealers because I always have felt like I am paying a premium to do business with them, but sometimes you get what you pay for. We don’t have a big fancy boat. It was only 70k which is nothing in terms of boats they sell, but they still treat us as well as the guys that spend 10 times that.

tl;dr -- Rip-off alert!! Angler's charged me $527 for a basic oil change, after quoting my wife $150 on phone.First, I'll echo other's positive comments about Paul, our sales experience and delivery were both good. This is my first boat. One of the key points at time of sale was local service and convenience of mobile service or pick-up.Unfortunately, my very first service experience was awful and completely destroyed my trust in this dealer.First, the dealer recommended mobile service for $150 to my wife on phone, indicated it was same price and same service, whether done on my lift or if tow boat to Supply. When tech arrived, he said he'd never done an oil change on a lift, and wouldn't be able to grease the propeller. I offered to take boat off lift and tie to dock, but he declined. I was with him the entire time, approx 45 minutes. He dripped oil all over my seats, floor, and into canal, leaving me a mess to clean up.Then I got the bill for $527. Yamaha 150hp outboard, 5qt of basic oil, 1 oil filter, less than 1 hour of service. I complained to service manager and was told this was "standard charge". Maybe you should quote your standard charge on phone (and then, obviously, I would have gone elsewhere, and we wouldn't be having this review).I can't understand why Anglers wants to rip off a new customer this way. Really disappointed, I had hoped to have trusted dealer to take care of everything.

Can’t say many good things about this place. They sold me a brand new boat. Dragged the lower unit across their shop floor and didn’t tell me about it before I paid to transport it from NC to FL. They offered to make it up by throwing in extended warranty which I accepted. Now I find electrical issues, boat is missing ground battery terminal so everything shuts off when you turn on a pump or anything on the switch panel. They also sold me a trailer that is 3 ft too small for the boat. They said the trailer is small on purpose because of to little of tongue weight. Every other key west boat like mine has a much larger trailer and they don’t have tongue weight issues. They gave me the run around for over a week about warranty work. Lots of promises before I bought the boat. There are some nice people that work here but that’s not going to fix the lemon I got.Update to the owners response:Load rite has not contacted me. I called them and they told me on the phone that the trailer is rated for up to a 22ft boat and it’s on their spec sheet as well. The boat I purchased is 25ft. Yes I saw pictures of the boat but the trailer being too small did not register with me until I got the boat. I am not refusing to take it to the local dealer, they are 1 month out. I appreciate you trying to make it right but I strongly believe that another dealer would have caught all the things your dealer missed prior to delivery.

By reference from friends I brought my boat for service on my 27 Sea Hunt with 2== 2021 Yamaha engines to them. Explained the problem. Trim pumps!!!!@ Left it for 1 week . They couldn’t diagnose a 5 minute issue, really, told KENT I Needed it back for a week to fulfill obligations and I would bring it back. As I did. Now 2 weeks later, and it was known more than a week now that the problem was diagnosed, and they haven’t even ordered the parts. C’mon man.

Great place to deal with. Bought a new trailer for my boat and Blake made it as easy as can be even though my boat isn't the "normal" v-hull and the trailer haf to be built to fit. Will definitely go there when I'm in the market for the next one!

Purchased a used boat from Anglers and they made the process a breeze. I was very hesitant to purchase something pre-owned, but they checked it out and made sure everything was operable so I could feel confident with my purchase. Thank you team Anglers!

Very pleased with everyone involved in purchasing a new Keywest. Michael from the Clayton store was our salesman, and was wonderful to work with. Huge thanks to him and the rest of the Anglers team that made this dream boat a amazing experience!

While trolling for bait Friday afternoon preparing for king mackerel tournament Saturday, I noticed my steering was very sloppy. Called anglers marine at 4:30pm Friday afternoon while on the boat at Shallotte Inlet. Kent and Wes got on the phone with me and Kent was willing to make a “house call”after he got off work. He came to my house where the boat was docked and proceeded to fix my steering problem. You can’t find a better family owned and staff friendly marine business. A great big “Thank You” to Wes, Kent and the Anglers Marine family.

I was in the market for a new trailer. I contacted several dealerships all over the state and either they didn’t have any in stock or they didn’t return my call. Blake stayed in touch with me and kept me informed about the arrival of the trailer. I drove three and half hours to get the trailer. I could have bought one closer but I appreciate Blake staying in touch and updating me. Not to mention the price was a lot lower than other dealerships.

We had our boat delivered today from Anglers. This has been the smoothest purchase. It started with Matt in sales and ladies up front. They all made the first stages of buying a boat so smooth. Considering we were in the process of moving down here. Carter made the transition of adding accessories to delivery flawless. Steve was truly amazing during the delivery. He spent almost two hours going over every aspect of the boat and making sure everything was good during sea trials. Thank you everyone at Anglers for making our dream a reality and truly stress free.

We purchased a Robalo from Matt in March. Matt was a delight to work with and was very helpful when we were choosing features that we wanted to add. In the end, our boat was specified with the perfect upgrades for our lifestyle. Matt went above and beyond to make us happy and was extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone who is shopping for a new boat!

Matt was extremely helpful in purchasing our Cayman 246 especially since we were coming from out of state. A couple of small items weren't included in the boat when we left. Matt had those items shipped to our address the following week. Overall fantastic service and experience.
