This Shell location is a small-town favorite that serves as both a convenience store and a quintessential southern diner, offering a hole-in-the-wall ambiance where customers instantly feel at home. The food is great, with items like the Farmer's Breakfast and the Hungry Man plate providing perfect eggs, crispy bacon, and great value at very reasonable prices. Service is generally great, with many employees described as the nicest, sweetest, coolest, super sweet, super friendly, and pleasant, providing attentive service even when busy. However, experiences vary regarding one employee, with one reviewer finding him rude while another strongly defends his kind nature. The store itself received praise for being open reliably after a hurricane, but the convenience side has the highest prices in town for items like energy drinks and snacks. While the restrooms could use attention, the overall experience leaves customers smiling and planning to return.
SPLIT Decision, They were open right after Hurricane Helene A+ PRICES inside are the highest in TOWN. ENERGY DRINKS, Cigarettes.. snacks.. you name it. High Prices with a SMILE>

The new owners have done such a fantastic job with this store! And all of the employees are so nice, except for the Asian(?) guy with the glasses, he's rude. He quite literally looked at other customers and laughed at me. The tall guy with the green glasses is always super sweet.
