When I got an offer to apply for this job , there was a zoom meeting that was hosted for the pre initial interview. The host removed me along with a few others before me and from the looks of it, it was mostly African Americans. Even if that is not the reason I shouldn’t have to come up with that conclusion based off of his removal . I am offended and I do not recommend working through this company. Also the host name was Derek Maddox.

This was the best agent I have ever worked with. He was able to find me a much better price than anyone else and more importantly, he took the time to understand my situation and make an informed recommendation rather than just spitting out quotes and trying to sell me on the most expensive plan. I ************** Symmetry agent to my friends and family.

If you are looking at reviews because someone is trying to "recruit" or "hire" you, run. This is a MLM company no matter how they explain it. Watch The MLM Cult by James Jani on YouTube, that is what this company is.The "system" is after you get tired of buying leads you sell a policy to yourself, friends and family, the company founders count on this. AND if your customer cancels a policy in the first YEAR you lose your commission. The money gets automatically taken out of your account. With the looming recession I feel sorry for these agents. They are told to leave reviews to bury ones like this. Hope you found this one.

Symmetry Financial group 0/5 This message is for any SALES CLOSER/APPOINTMENT SETTER do not apply or waste your time the company will make you pay for leads. My advice to this company choose quality over quantity and provide a lead generation team to actually run a company where you don't need to sell people on working for you.

Bait n switch recruiting. Nothing they advertised is how company is. Paid leads , no set up appointments, no benefits lolol. If you gotta lie on your application, that tells me all I need to know about working for you. Sad how many snake insurance companies there are.

Davion Clark reached out to me by text message. I kindly asked him not to text me any more. He ignored it and kept texting me to where I had to actually block him. I would not use this company. Sounds like 100000 scam!!!!!

I'm a client and an agent with SFG and like others who have left reviews, am surprised and appalled at some of the negative reviews on here. I know everyone has their own experience, but it's still shocking. Personally, I've received nothing but support, continuous training (I had never been in insurance prior to this job), and the freedom to work where and how hard I want. The pay is good, the team culture is even better, and on the 2 occasions I did have a concern over language used on zoom calls and what I believed to be intolerant behavior...I was listened to, supported, and connected to the founding members to ensure things were resolved properly. I look forward to many more years with this company.

One of their insurance sales agent, Larri G is a racist. Unfortunately, I will no longer be a customer with symmetry financial group unless this matter is addressed immediately.

I have only been working as an agent here for about a month. Through the highest highs and the lowest lows, this company has been my back bone since day 1. When they tell you hard work pays off.. they weren’t lying. This company is unmatched in support and training. I am so lucky to have been given this opportunity. I can’t wait to see how my life unfolds!

I have to concur with the many other low ratings, everywhere online, for this so called "company", based on direct experience as one of their "agents". Brandon Ellison and Casey Watkins are the biggest hypocrites in the insurance industry to date. They act as though they encourage a work/life balance but then expect you to devote 12 hours plus daily to their profit machine by ripping off grieving families. I endured the "on-boarding" process with them for over a month and still did not see any leads whatsoever nor had any promise of earning income. I can say without doubt it is one of the absolute worst processes of any on-boarding I have ever experienced. They have no clue what they are doing. After you go through all the trouble of "cramming" (which they actually encourage only cramming) and then passing the test, then symmetry makes you jump through endless hoops on their "website" which is highly dysfunctional, further adding to their long list of things impeding you from actually getting to work immediately after completing licensing. After you pass the licensing test Symmetry immediately begins bombarding your personal cell phone with random and very aggravating texts from several different numbers, some automated and some done by real personnel, in a very stalker, spammy, and you guessed it, predictably tacky way. After you see the two hillbilly founders of this company you won't be surprised that they think it's perfectly acceptable to conduct "business" this way. They both have a considerably arrogant, passive, aggressive demeanor and attempt to transparently pass it off as "helping families". The upline agents also practically threaten you to accept their spammy "team" app - Crew, which, as soon as you do, yes, you guessed it again, they begin bombarding your phone 24 hours a day with push notifications about useless, spammy, nonsense. Again they call this "important business" but it's nothing of the sort. They also bombard your inbox with emails from several different subsidiary sources and give you so many login id's and default passwords that you will not be able to keep up with, that it is beyond laughable. Again completely counter productive. You would think a 2 year old set up this system as poorly as it functions completely counter to optimal, streamlined, performance. Being on the so called team for an entire month, after passing my exam, I still had no leads in my account, on their buggy, spammy, "Symmetry/Quility/Agent Sync" site/s. I asked my upline repeatedly about this but he never once gave me a straight answer, making it seem as though they were that much more shady and ever lying. Their collectively agreed upon approach is to keep the carrot dangling in your face just out of reach for as long as possible. They either don't understand how poorly they come across or don't care, by not only sending the completely wrong message with mixed signals and horrible communication skills and protocols, but also and more importantly by parading it about as though they are saviors of the world. It's a very obvious hypocrisy and ridiculous cognitive dissonance they wear on their sleeves and arrogantly so. Because their garbage "site" was so dysfunctional you had to constantly call or text your upline to get them to hold your hand for the simplest of things like logging in, and just registering simple data. I'm a very self sufficient worker so this was extremely annoying but they pass it off as being "teamwork" the whole while denying that it is completely counter productive and highly inefficient, wasting your time as well as their own. Can you say lost in denial and more hypocrisy? There are many other negatives regarding working for these psychos but I don't want to be here any longer than I have been already. If able, avoid these clowns unless you are happy having your time and resources wasted by the ultimate time and resource wasters - Symmetr

The person who contacted us to recruit us was incredibly rude. Her name was Diane Jeremiah. When she first contacted us she was fine until she said our current life insurance was too low for the coverage we had and we only had accidental coverage which was not the truth. Also she asked for my husband’s height and weight which is 6’ 1” and is around 150 or 160lbs then she tried to correct me and said “ you mean 250” I corrected her and said no because he’s 150. That was NOT OKAY. How dare she assume that. No one should assume someone’s weight when they haven’t even seen them. Then she calls us today saying that we can in no way have the coverage we have now with our low rates. My husband used to work for insurance and I told her we’ve looked at our policy and we have all the coverage we need. She was rude saying “impossible there’s no way. You have accidental coverage.” She hasn’t even looked at our policy so how can she know?? We told hey thanks for getting time but we don’t want to continue the conversation. She then texts us saying “ I didn’t mean to upset you, but you really need to call the company because it’s impossible to get $1 million life insurance policy for $20 Call another agent just so you know I’m not lying”I then proceeded to say “ My husband used to sell life insurance and it was possible. So I wish we had insurance on this accident on talking to you because we would get a lot of money for you wasting our time. Goodbye don’t talk to us again or we’ll file you for harassment. She replied with a thumbs up and I blocked all contact from her to prevent us from having any future harassment, rude comments or incorrect assumptions from her. Never going with symmetry.

Not really an ideal place to work if you are just starting life insurance. Plus, I felt my up line set me up for failure the first month I was there and not all materials for me to succeed is giving to me from day one. I feel train methods can be improved from this company. Furthermore, my up-line was very unorganized, did not respond to texts msgs timely, said stuff about sending material for me, but did not because I had to remind him one time about sending me them. Also, I felt like this company overall is not a great fit for me because I feel I am wasting time feeling like I have to pay leads out of my pocket if I don’t make a profit from my leads already bought without the proper training.

I currently work at Symmetry as an independent insurance agent. This company from day one has been transparent and impactful. I have been fortunate to have a great boss/mentor, although I understand that not every agent has had that same experience. They never condone insurance malpractice or unethical marketing strategies. They send out legal mailers and only call people who responded. I firmly believe if an agent has a complaint they either had a bad mentor (tell me who hasn't had a bad boss), they don't understand at all how insurance companies work, or just plainly did not do the work.
