My grandson attends. Our personal experience has been wonderful. The staff is amazing, and really care about the children that attend, I would highly recommend this facility !!!

My daughter attends for before, and after school care and attends the preschool program. Everyone at school and preschool are wonderful. We have attended other schools where we had numerous issues and questionable care within the county. Moving our daughter to CCN 79 was the best decision we’ve made all year. They truly care about her and her needs. She comes home every day encouraged, happy and fulfilled, which is everything you want for young child, entering child care, and education.

I think that this location’s front desk - including the director - needs improvement on professionalism and communication. My daughter has been on the waitlist since mid-March, and this center was actually our top contender to getting childcare as soon as possible.Her start date was primarily July 19, but when we called mid-June to confirm, we were told told it was pushed back to sometime during the first week of August due to the wait on background checks for new employees. Completely understandable, though I wished we were informed since we were already given a start date.Called again late July and this time we were pushed back to August 30.Called second week of August to confirm and was told I would get a call back after the director checked on our status for availability. Never got a call back.Called August 23, a week before my daughter’s start date and spoke to who I believe to be the assistant director. She told me that August 30 was still a good start date and that I could pick up the registration form on Thursday that same week.Thursday rolls around and it took the director nearly 15 mins to answer the door after ringing the doorbell at least 8 times, and calling the office 3 times. Explained to the her who I spoke to and that the start date was confirmed. Due to time constraints we figured my daughter will just start the Monday after. When my husband called to ask about the dress code for infants, the director tells us that she was not even scheduled to start yet. She asked who i spoke to and that she was going to get in touch with them to see pretty much what’s going on.As a director of a childcare center, I think that it is her responsibility to ensure that she has all the information on interested clients readily available. Instead I kept getting told that she was going to check with someone else on what was going on. It was mostly frustrating when I was asked for my phone number. At this point they should be confirming that they have the correct number on file in the first place. I told the director that was the third time my phone number has been asked for yet no one has ever called back. She just said she will get back to me. To this day she has not called me back.

My daughter has been going to CCN of Swansboro for 6 months. She started in the infant room and is now in the toddler class. She’s had great teachers along the way. The teachers have been very nice and caring to her. She’s provided healthy meals and lots of activities. I enjoy having the app that allows for updates throughout the day as well as pictures of her playing with her friends. Any questions I’ve had the director was able to answer promptly. I’m glad to have a quality daycare so close by.

Completely unprofessional in setting appointments and not answering calls or the door when you arrive for you're appointment with them.
