I went to this store to take pictures for a company that partnered with dollar general. The purpose was to take pictures of a remodel that the store had undergone. When I presented the manager wit the letter of authorization she was incredibly rude to me in front of costumers and employees. She accused me of taking pictures to case the place. She asked me to leave then followed me to my car to continue verbally bashing me. This has never happened to me in the last 7yrs I have been doin this work. She even told me I was dressed inappropriate but she herself was wearing an old bleach stained T-shirt & jeans. I was wearing a brand new hoodie & jeans. I reported her to my boss I hope the company does something about this manager. I have never been so embarrassed in my life for simply trying to do my job.

Well I went in the store for a few things. Needed to use the restroom. There’s a door with the men’s room sign on it but the customers are not allowed to use it!! What the heck is up? What reason to not let customers use it?Didn’t purchase anything at this point . Had to leave to find a restroom some place else.Not cool DG !!

Sales person went out of her way to help me find some thing, and you don't usually find that at some of the Dollar General.

This store is now turning into a disaster. You have to keep moving loaded heavy carts around to look and get to merchandise which is annoying now because I have to do it ALL the time. This has gotten worse!Many isle lighting is burnt out. Some isles are so dark you struggle to read the labels and greeting cards.I’m sure it is the “short staff” excuse but usually have to chase down the cashier. I’ll stand there and bang on things to make noise. Maybe a bell would work? There is now a self checkout station that does help.Time to clean up this store. There are older stores in better shape then this.

I’ve been to 1 Dollar General in my life and said I’d never go again….. Well I’ve been to this location twice in the past 8 months and plan to go again tonight – maybe 2nd and 3rd time is a charm?! I credit it to the staff who are always wonderful, very helpful and friendly! We have a home down the street and can’t say I’d try other dollar generals in the Triangle where we live most of the year (may be open to try the others in the coast-area) BUT as long as this location keeps the shelves full w great items, the high caliber of staff and customer serv remains, I’ll a customer for life – Never Say Never!
