Have used First Citizens for 6+ years now after moving to the area. Great friendly customer service and always ready to help. Got a home loan through this branch with Jan Revis and was always helpful with any mortgage questions I had. Even better First Citizens serviced my mortgage the entire time and didn't sell it off line a lot of lenders do. Highly recommend First Citizens for banking and the staff of this branch as well.

I came to this bank when Entegra sold. I dont get off work until 5 o'clock. Now I have to go to my employers bank to cash my paycheck. I cant get off through the week before 5. So I cant even deposit my money here at first citizens. Guess I need to switch banks again. Every other bank stays open until 530 or 6 on Fridays. So much for customer service!

They now close at 5 pm on all weekdays including Friday. Used to be 6 pm. How am I supposed to deposit my paycheck now when I don’t even get off work until 5 pm? What a crummy bank.

They have been good to me and went out of the way to help me get PPP funds during the 2020 pandemic.

My bank did a merger with them and I get my mail 4/16/20 during coronavirus pandemic and my state lock-down I get 2 things in the mail from First Citizens. 1) Book of checks [I did not order or ask for] 2) New bank card [ Did not know about ] So I get to looking at the checks its after 5 so I'm worried when I see the routing number on the checks is now different then my checks i already had and I start to worry more because I'm on SSDI and I'm the one that has to let them know if bank info changes and time to do this change is very short. So I call the help number and ask the lady what are they thinking doing this to me during this time, then tell her I would not care if the routing number had not changed so she asked what the number on the checks THEY sent was and then she says umm that is not the routing number for your state and that she has no idea where that number came from. So now I'm freaking out and very mad she wanted to give me no answers or help other then BTW all your other bank stuff will stop working as of 4/17/20!

The Grecian or Roman facade of this bank intrigued me before I moved to Sylva, NC. I spoke with Tina Moore who helped me set up my checking account and is very personable and knowledgeable.
