“The store has a lot of stuff that one might need when maintaining their home and garden, and some very nice and professional staff but many not so helpful ones too. However, sometimes you get unlucky, and find there are more staff in the break room than on the shop floor. The store is often poorly organized, especially in Tiling where the numbers on the examples hung on the wall do not appear on the shelves. It can be very frustrating, and this has happened on many occasions, you are looking for a staff member, but the intercom is calling them ALL into the office (please do not do this while your store is open to the public). How is a shop supposed to function if no one is present. I think Lowes problems are not the staff, but mabye the management and maybe even above the store level. Staff seem undermotivated and poorly trained. The website is terrible and has bugs on the User Account features, the number of operators available to take calls on the phone at Lowes customer services (not the store but the chain as a whole) is a joke (on hold for an hour and still no pick up) as is their telelpone maze. All in all it gives the impression of a company that does not care about the humble shopper to spends a lot of money in this chain and I mean a lot.
As of 2026 things seemed to have gotten much better on the customer services front”
