No complaints about the staff however the Halloween decoration at the front door is absolutely inappropriate. It is a 12 ft tall vampire with blood around its mouth and red eyes. There is no reason my daughters who are not yet school age should be terrified walking into a home improvement store.
I understand Halloween decorations are supposed to be scary, but to that I raise 2 issues: (1) ITS JULY! (2) They should not be immediately in front of the entrance where they cannot be avoided. Maybe the garden area? Maybe off to the side? No they have chosen to put them literally in front of the entrance.
I brought this up to the assistant store manager and he said it is a decision made at the corporate level. If that is the case, then use this review to show higher leadership that this decision is bad for customer relations.

Picked up some construction items today. A nice very helpful young man, Isaac helped us with loading what we needed and onloaded into our truck. Very polite. Lowes, you have a great new employee.

I just have to say....whoever designed and set up the Memorial Day display in the Veteran's parking spot....WOW!!! Absolutely beautiful! I saw it and just stood in front of it....very moving. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!

I love Lowes! My favorite store after Bass Pro! My only suggestion is the floor employees be more helpful. Less chit chat with each other, more offering assistance to their customers

The Lowe's in Sylva North Carolina really sucks I went in one morning to buy a washing machine with money the person that waited on me wrote down the wrong washing machine number so that makes delivery guys bring me the wrong washing machine when I called and complained they told me to deal with it so I went up there to get it exchanged they wouldn't exchange it they had to refund my money then for me to come back to buy another one I just told him I wanted my money back he said it would take 2 to 3 business days to get my money back Define now it's going to take 7 to 14 days now I have no washing machine but you think Lowe's cure know I'll never do business with that Bunch again I'm dealing with it I get my money back I'll buy me a washing machine somewhere else that will appreciate me I guess I'll sign my name to it Mary Burchfield

Put an order in Saturday afternoon, got text it was ready at 8:58 pm. Went to pick it up at 1:30 the next day waited over a hour to get two landscaping timbers and two stepping stones, ask for the manager, which had a terrible attitude and was not willing to resolve the situation. Cancelled the order and went to the store in Franklin, which everyone in the store was quick to help and very polite. I recommended the Franklin store if you want quick and polite.

They hire racist employees! Yesterday myself, 2 young kids, and husband went to purchase security cameras. A nice lady from plumbing went out her way to help us and took them to the cashier at U-scan to hold on to for us while we finished shopping. I come back and tell her I'm ready to check out my camera's now. This dumb broad replies back with "It doesn't matter where you check out there's camera's watching you everywhere." I stare at her dumbfoundedly waiting for her to say she's joking or something. She was serious. I told her to go get my camera's the lady handed her a few minutes ago so I could check out and she stood there starring at us the whole time as if we were theives while using the register. It didn't sit right with me so I called to speak to a manager and they said they'd look into it. No apologies. NOTHING! Lowe's has permanently lost our business.
