Lost my package. Went up there 2 different times after I had already sent it off and they looked for it and said they ”have no idea what could have happened to it.” It had a QR code that was scanned and it never left the post office because the tracking number never updated. I now have to give the customer a refund due to their error.
I understand things happen but this has never happened with UPS. Plus the post office won’t even give you a tiny piece a tape to seal your package! Then they lose it?!? Not cool.

Front desk worker extremely helpful with my elderly grandparents that were trying to change their address. Explained the process and was patient/understanding. Took customer service to the next level. Thank you.

Apparently they can't deliver packages that can't be violently shoved into your mailbox. Ordered a small camping chair and because it won't fit in the mailbox they won't deliver it. My porch is less than 10ft from the mailbox, so why it can't be left there i have no idea.

post master? Tampered with our mail for the past two days, also slammed the blue door in our faces when we asked who the substitute delivery carrier was? It was probably him.
Also the couple in line before us were having issues receiving their mail also. He was so rude!! Name as all we know is Reagan?! What a disgrace!

I get so tired of reading reviews from ignorant individuals. I have the best postal carrier on the planet. Vicky is simply the best ever. To those that want the post office to deliver to their houses, they are required to deliver to only your box. Or leave a slip to pick up at the post office itself. Amazon,UPS and Fed Ex deliver to your house. So if a postal carrier does deliver to your door, try a big thank you. Know what the rules are before being a little crybaby.

They ALWAYS refuse to deliver my larger boxes. I had two large boxes coming with gifts for my birthday, and now I will be waiting until after my birthday to receive these. They go out for delivery for literally five minutes then they send me a notification saying they couldn’t deliver it. No knock or attempt to reach me. I could come get the box out of the truck. If your postal service workers are too lazy to do their job, which is BRING ME THE BOX, they need to find a different job.

I’m 49 years old. Originally from Sylva but have lived all over the country. Came back home in 2019. Since 2019 I have had nothing but problems with this post office. It is simply put the worst ran, worst managed and laziest group of postal personnel I’ve ever dealt with.
Someone above them needs to take a hard look at the absolute bullshit that goes on there (just one example) is they placed our wedding invitations in another home’s mailbox and then when questioned directly gave us a ridiculous run around about it stating they’d find the package and get back to us…. this went on for nearly two weeks before the individuals who had it placed in their box brought it to our place and gave it to us.
You can never get anyone on the phone here and going in and talking to someone is nearly as unproductive because the moment they realize they have once again screwed something up or been lazy (with an example being that instead of walking a package to your porch, they’ll leave a card for you to come pick it up & good luck with their bullshit hours they don’t even follow). instead of owning it and making it right, they’ll simply go to the back and wait until you leave.
Whoever is in charge of this mess has no business being in charge of anything that doesn’t have to do with sweeping, mopping or supersizing.

Worst experience with a post office I have ever had. I live on a regular paved road and the delivery drivers just refuse to deliver packages to my door. They always state “mailbox full.” Well of course, most packages are not going to fit in a mailbox. I am a new mom and recently made an Amazon baby registry. It has been a huge inconvenience to have to travel to the post office to pick up each individual package because of their incompetence. From other reviews, I see I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Something needs to be done about the post office in Sylva ASAP.

If I could give 0 stars I would! They will not even try to deliver Amazon packages, say mailbox is full and I go check & guess what not a single piece of mail in there, they will not put on the porch either. Then when trying to call the post office location they will never answer the phone. Useless.

Awful. 2 of my packages that were "delivered" are NOWHERE to be found. Called the post office 4 times before getting greeted with someone very rude basically telling me oh it's been delivered and that was the end of the conversation didn't bother to help didn't offer no solutions didn't bother to look in the back or find and contact the carrier to find out what happened. I really really needed these packages I'm a mom and I don't spend alot on myself but I finally broke down and got shoes which I needed bc my only other pair are on there last limbs. I'm pregnant I needed comfy shoes took several weeks to get here so reordering them would take SO much time I'm so pissed about this. Customer service is bad, delivery doesn't seem to exist. Hearing alot of people say the carriers steal packages so tbh wouldn't surprise me.

For some reason they will not deliver my packages. I live on a normal road. I have a paved driveway. I have a huge parking area with super easy access to my house. Whenever I have someone mail something to me or Amazon ships with them, I have to go to the post office to pick it up. People pay them to deliver mail, but they won't do it.
