Getting towed from your own apartment complex and paying $240 to get your car back is insane. My daughter forgot to put her pass up on the rearview, which is on her, but after showing proof that she was a resident she was still made to pay $200. These are disgusting people who prey on desperate college students. By the way, they only take cash.

Not sure where to start. These people are first of all very greedy and will tow almost anybody for any reason. I showed up to get my car and asked for an invoice and receipt. The lady refused to give me the information I was wanting and called in some backup. 3 trucks pulled in with very hostile and aggressive men. I was called a slurs, threatened, and harrassed by these people who were all part of the business. All of this over me asking for as much information as possible. Unfortunately I was only able to get one video but I hope it helps give an idea of the type of people these are. Cops had to be called by my girlfriend who felt I was starting to get in danger from these lunatics.

Zero stars for this place. Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting behavior exhibited by grown men. All that was asked for was a receipt, they didn't want to fully fill it out. NEVER go by yourself always have someone with you sketchy business and people.

NEVER call these people for towing. They will charge you out the ass for your car, and will charge you the full price of the tow even if you’re right there and your car hasn’t been hooked up yet. They are snakes and as the only place that tows cars in Sylva for apartment complexes they have a monopoly on the whole town which is why they are able charge crazy ass prices for their tows.
For people saying they don’t tow apartment complexes, they in fact do. This number is the number my peers and myself have had to call in order to get cars back - something I had to figure out on my own since their truck has “Swain Towing” on it.

I am not one to write a complaint about anything ever. I don’t even say anything at a restaurant when my order is wrong. But was towed against my consent recently. I have reason to believe my car was not fully hooked up to the truck while I was trying to get them to let me move my car. I explained I was just dropping someone off and I have arthritis in my back so I could not walk from visitor parking to drop them off. I left my car for two minutes and it was already beginning to be set up to towed. They asked for 200 cash and they would drop it then. They promised me that it would be 200 when I went to get my car. When I arrived I had to wait 20 minutes for staff and was already running late for work because of their absence from the business. They claimed the price was now $240 because I was a resident of a different apartment and they could not charge me the price they had given me originally. May I add Extremely rude staff! If you have several complaints against your attitude while being the manager of a business, especially a business where you put stress and fees on people by towing against their consent. You should consider being more mindful of your tone. They seem extremely unprofessional in every aspect of their business and when I asked to speak to the owner I was refused. Please if you have any power to pay this company DO NOT DO IT. Complain to your apartments for using this company before you are me.

Terrible company. Predatory pricing. Charging broke college students for mistakes. All they care about it money. What they do should be illegal. $290 for a 5 mile tow and accidentally being 1 spot over from a visitor spot for 1 day.

TLDR: They unlawfully towed my car and still refused to give me my car even after they realized they messed up.
I had my car parked in an apartment complex with a valid parking pass hanging from my rear view mirror. I walk outside in the morning to go to work and my car was just missing. I found out they towed it and over the phone they said it was because I had no parking pass (they lied). They then realized I did have a parking pass when looking at my car (why they hadn’t done this earlier is beyond me) and the pass just wasn’t hanging completely vertical because I didn’t do a good job hanging it which is on me but it was still completely visible, just crooked. If they had just taken more than 5 seconds to look for it they would have seen it but all they care about is money. They tried charging me $240 which was eventually brought down to $50. I told the guy working there how the pass was visible and he told me I was wrong because it was only visible because the sun was out and last night it was too dark to see (which makes no sense because the pass is neon yellow). I had to get to work though so I had no choice but to give him the money even though what he did was illegal. I was still super late to work as well so I lost wages. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and left the parking pass untouched so I could see if it was visible tonight and not only is it visible but I didn’t even need a flashlight to see it so the towing guy was completely full of crap and made up a bogus story.
I don’t even care about the money at this point. More just the fact that these people are just genuinely bad people with zero moral compass who think nothing of how their actions affect other people, but only how much money they can make. He made me late to work and tried charging me $240 for something that was his fault. And literally stole my property.

Only reason they didn't get a 1 star is the man on duty was nice enough to help me search through the belongings in my totalled vehicle, and was understanding that I was injured and needed help collecting my things. He even went and got me a cup of ice water.
Prices are highway robbery, I was charged initially 300 dollars for a 12 mile tow from an accident, with 50 dollars a day for lot storage after that.
Offered to sell it to them for scrap, as the tires were practically new, easilly could fetch at least 600 dollars for the set, not to mention the back half of the car being in good condition. They charged me 150 dollars on TOP of signing over the title, to stop any more day fees. Do NOT let them tow your vehicle to their lot unless you want to be robbed of your money.

BEWARE of this towing company. They thrive on towing college students vehicles to take their money. They are nothing but a low down dirty people that finds vehicles to be towed. The college kids needs to egg the shit out of their trucks...LOL... JK. Take it to the college or town hall to complain and get them to stop preying on the college campus apartment student living.
