This place was fantastic! We took a camping trip the weekend of Thanksgiving. We did not expect to have that many people camping that weekend. Second time we ever to out our camper and the first time we ever stayed at a resort. WE LOVED IT!. Had a great time and there was a ton of things to do while we were there. Very clean park and had a lot of things to do for kids all day and all night long. We have already booked 2 more stays this year in 2024. Best campground we have been to thus far.

We just love this Campground so much! The staff are all so nice and helpful! They keep up with the outside maintenance so well. The landscaping is always so nice, the bathrooms are clean and the laundry rooms are so nice too! We love walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the park! My kids especially love it for all the fun activities and they love it most in the summer! ? we always love coming here!!Nearby activities: They have 2 parks at the campground, indoor pool open year around and 2 outdoor pools with small water park. Jump pad and craft activities when open. Also delicious ice cream and a awesome general store!Safety: We feel very safe at the park and around the little town. Food lion is the closet grocery store and it’s probably 5-8 mins away.

I was scheduled to come in on Thursday 10/9/23 but had an accident prior to arrival. I called at 6:15pm and advised the management team that I was unable to come considering my situation. The manager on duty was very rude and nasty as if I hadn’t already had a bad day. I asked to PLEASE have a little compassion and refund my Fri-Sun (and lose my Thursday arrangement considering the late notice) and the manager rudely said NO because of the late notice. I restated that I was in route but because of my accident I wouldn’t make it. After advising that I would be disputing with my bank, she quickly refunded my money for Fri-Sun. I did NOT have a good experience and will never consider coming back!Nancy, who I had the pleasure of speaking with during my booking was kind and curious but the manager IS TRASH!

This is the nicest jellystone we have camped in. I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. Our site was clean when we arrived didn’t have to ask any questions playground was very close to where we were camped. All the amenities were very close and easy to get to the app is awesome. It tells you everything you need to know it gives you alerts and updates throughout the day letting you know ahead of time when things are going on. We went during the month of October and they trick-or-treat every Saturday night. I really appreciated that they close the road off to car traffic for the safety of the children and the families that was a really big deal. Oh and by the way even if you don’t camp here, you can still come and try out their creamery, which is the best in the area by far. You have to book a unit in advance if you decide to get a spot in October, because it fills up very fast.Nearby activities: The best creamery around.Walkability: We did trick-or-treating Saturday night and walk the entire park.

Camping at Jellystone on a beautiful afternoon in a quad, surrounded by concrete. I was just told by the park owners that no campfires in the Brick fire pits are allowed because conditions are dry. There is no forestry service ban on open burning of acreage in Columbus county , much less in a controlled fire pit. There is no conceivable reason I can't have a fire in a fire pit surrounded by yards of concrete and asphalt. These people are buffoons. They're like the same person who wears a mask for Covid when they are driving in their car by themselves. I will never come back. Save your money and go to a state park where the Gestapo there at least follow state regulations not made up rules.

My kids loved it! It was busy when we were there but there were so many things to do. Great place for the kids to bring bikes since it's so big.

Would NOT reccomend this place in ANY way. I called to inquire about a day pass. I live maybe 5 miles down the road so I don’t need to drive my RV in or rent a cabin. This lady is like no daypasses, it wouldn’t be fair to those guests that do rent an RV space or cabin to have the pool like a community pool all crowded up and whatnot. Well, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. I can’t enjoy the park because I don’t have to pay your outrageous prices? I live right down the road so keep me & my Granddaughter out huh? Yea, right before I hung up I told this girl, sounds about right for America & a business to do that. Kind of offended me but I know my little review won’t keep the sheep from flocking in. Have at it…And btw, Yogi Bear Park, you don’t have to chime in with a response. Nothing you type will change the way I feel about what I was told on that phone. Shove it…keep your park.
