This is my first time owning a Taylor King piece of furniture.... WOW I love it.... I got it second hand and I can't believe how nice it is.... super firm but comfortable at the same time... I owned some really nice sofas and I think this has got to be the best by far... I should have taken a better picture because the cushion I hadn't didn't set it in there right before I took the picture but it's cuz I was too excited and underneath sofa has all these reinforcements. Never seen one that well made

The most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever had and I’m stuck with it. Plus after 1 year and hardly any use (due to the lack of comfort) the fabric is fraying. I heard they pay decorators a good commission to sell their products, so someone is happy with this purchase. I wish I could sell it.

I purchased a large sectional and ottoman from Taylor-King in 2020 after spending almost two years looking for a high quality sofa. My wife and I must have looked at thirty different sectionals manufactured by many different manufacturers. The Taylor-King sofa quality was hands down the best that we found. The materials used in construction are top quality and the look and feel of the sofa is excellent. My kids have often said that the sectional we purchased is the most comfortable we have ever purchased - so much so that my oldest daughter says that she would rather sleep on our sofa than in our bed in the guest bedroom we have! It took a long time to find the quality we wanted, but it was worth the wait!

I had a Taylor King sofa that we used for 15 years. It lasted through teenage boys and a lab and still looked like new when we replaced it. The fabric still looked good and cushions had food shape to them. I just wanted a change was why we got rid of it. I should have brought TK again!!

Absolutely the worst quality furniture I’ve ever owned. Within six months the material on the sofa began to mat into fuzz balls. Within a year of the cushions lost all their shape. Even the areas of the sofa that were not exposed for example the side of the cushions the material became all fuzzy. When I purchased it I was assured it was high-quality furniture that could not be further from the truth.

We ordered Taylor King Furniture- A couch and Ottoman in November. Was just told it will not be ready until June. Even if it is the nicest piece of furniture waiting 7 months for a couch is not worth it. Very disappointed in the company. Thanks for the quick response. We ordered it through decorating den. Here are the two pieces. What would be the best way to contact you and take this off of the review pages.

We have a sofa bed from Taylor King and are really happy with it. Three years after buying it we had a problem with the fold out mechanism. They were at our door within a few days and fixed it no charge and no fuss. Great company.

We purchased two of the Taylor King Umpire Chairs. We were told by the store that we purchased from that this was EXCELLENT Quality. We do not have pets, or children. These Chairs lasted just over 6 years before the leather (that we carefully treated) began to deteriorate. We were led to believe that we could get Taylor King to repair them but they immediately informed us that the damage was due to "normal use" and was not covered. These Chairs cost almost 3,000.00 EACH!! - WE will never purchase another Taylor King Item again. 6 years is way too short for that kind of money.

I was so surprised to see the Taylor King reviews posted. We have been a retailer in San Diego County for 51 years, and have dealt with Taylor King for 38 years. We have always found this to be a furniture company of the highest quality, complimenting our selection and our reputation. As my dad, our founder used to say "The only time you don't have problems is when you are not doing any business. The way you will be judged is how well you take care of the problems, and how promptly." That's the way we judge our suppliers as well. Taylor King is one of the least problematic suppliers that we have, and when we do have a situation it is handled promptly and professionally. Their quality is superb and last year we did 25% of our overall business with them. When we recommend a company, our reputation is on the line actually more than the manufacturer's as we are the ones who sold it to you. I highly recommend Taylor King for your next upholstery purchase.

I have purchased 3 couches, 3 chairs, and 3 ottomans from Taylor King over the past two years through my designer. I was satisfied at first until the most recent couch purchase. The couch was never comfortable and something just seemed off. As I began looking for furniture for the next room I was remodeling, I came across the measurements for the "uncomfortable" couch in their online catalog. I realized then what the problem was with my couch. My husband and I took measurements and discovered that the seat height and the overall height of the couch we had was 2 1/2 - 3 inches shorter than what is in their catalog. I contacted my designer right away who contacted Taylor King. Their first response was that they would send out a rep. That never happened and they had my designer take pictures and send them instead. Their response to my designer was that it was within an 1 - 1 1/2" of what was listed and that is within industry standards. Huh? What on earth were they looking at?? So I contacted them myself. They told me the problem was the seat depth and that's why we weren't comfortable (my husband is tall) and then sent me pictures of one from their shop that showed correct measurements for the heights. Don't they advertise that each one is individually made??? So perhaps that's why they won't send a rep out to measure my sofa. There is a big difference for a seat height that's suppose to be 21 and is actually 18! This was a $5000 couch that is 2 1/2 - 3" shorter than what they advertise! I am so disgusted that I ever ordered anything from them. My designer is going to personally take the responsibility and replace it. However, I never will ever order anything from them again. I suggest if you do, measure everything before you accept it and make a final payment and save yourself some grief. BTW, it was the Giles sofa. Their very pleasant marketing person, Tanya, told me that they've sold hundreds of these and I am the first complaint. So personally, I would avoid them at all costs. I've learned that even though I've been a good customer and purchased several items from them, it didn't matter at all. When there was a problem, Taylor King didn't stand behind their product.
