be aware of CHANGING PRICES, we went there today and we asked the girl in the green house about a price of a plant, she quoted $5.99, we were going to buy FOUR, went inside the girl rang it up and the total with tax was over $40. It did not make sense to us, the girl said the price was $8.99. and it is hard to keep plants that require shade and has to be water alive. which pretty much told us they would die. We told her what the girl outside said then she doesnt really know because there is so many outside, so we said we were going put them back. We saw the one outside again and told what they said and stated what she said, She then said no no I quoted you $9.50 So think bout this she told us 5.99 then inside said 8.99 then the first now said 9.50. sounds like they do not know the prices and have NO PROBLEM sticking it to customers. ON PLANTS that were going to die they lost a sale of 4. Also they are selling mustard green plants by the tray that the girl in the green house said it was TOO LATE and TOO HOT to plant, so why are they selling them. NEXT TIME we will go to Kernesville Farmer's market for ONE PRICE shopping and they KNOW their prices.

We rented a piece of fencing equipment from Barn Loft. This piece of equipment exceeded our expectations! We dealt directly with the gentleman that started the Barn Loft, and he was fantastic to work with! They have everything you need for your farms, farm animals, and Western wear! I encourage everyone to consider Barn Loft for your farming needs.

I’ve been a customer of this shop for about 4 years now and never had an issue until this past year. A couple of months ago I bought a 25 lbs bag of chicken scratch, it was infested with weevils. I thought it may have just been a mistake and that it wouldn’t happen again. I got another 25lbs bag of chicken scratch and a 25lbs bag of laying crumble this week and opened it when I got home. Immediately, I noticed it was infested with weevils as they started crawling to the top of the bag before I could dump it out. I opened the laying crumble as well, it smelt horrible ( I’ve been raising chickens for 6+ years now and I have been using this product the entire time, IT DID NOT SMELL RIGHT). I checked the dates on both bags and found out that they were both more than a year out of date. I taped them up and took them up to the store to exchange them, they did so happily and I asked that they would be fresh bags this time. Yet again, when I got home the scratch was infested and the crumbles smelt awful, and both bags were out of date. I took them back up to the store again that day and asked for a full return, I told the employee at the counter ( her name was Sydney ) that the feed did not smell right, there were still weevils, and the bags were out of date and that I wanted a return. She tried to tell me that the crumbles should smell like they did, and I explained that I had been buying the product for years and knew what it should smell like and she argued with me about it. She continued to try to tell me the bags weren’t out of date as well, even though when she looked for the date on the bags she couldn’t even find it. She continued trying to get me to take the feed they had given me home, but I told her I had already ordered elsewhere and that I wanted my money back.In recap, I will not be buying from this store again because of the rudeness of the employees, and the poor product.(feed bags are listed with a warning to not feed to your animals if it is bug or rodent infested, or has an abnormal odor, AS THIS CAN LEAD TO ILLNESS OR DEATH)

Owner run local barn supply. The owner was able to answer any questions. We found everything we needed and as always, more. Prices are comparable to big box with the extra service. This is my local Southern States supplier and damn it that's what my goats like. I'll be back every two weeks.

First time here. It is a really nice place that is family owned and operated and they seem to be very well stocked so if you need bird seed or animal feed or any type of farm and garden things be sure to stop in.Saddles and horse equipment too.
