“I usually love the meats I get from Shulers but I bought some chicken gizzards and had to throw away a few of them. They hadn't cut them open and the insides were yellowish brown and still had remnants of what the chicken had eaten. I washed the rest of them and scraped off many areas with yellowish colors. I've never bought gizzards from Shulers before so I don't know if this is typical. I've never bought any from a grocery store like this but they are getting hard to find.”

“Good prices, great meat. If you don't see it in the case, ask (such as larger primal cuts like briskets, pork bellies etc.)They also carry meats such as goat and lamb.Absolutely terrific and friendly service. They make you feel like a valued customer.Highly recommended!”

“Only place in Davidson County where I could find something that resembles picanha. Actually the only butcher I've been to in Davidson County that knew what picanha is. Most of the butcher stores around here don't even know what the "hangar steak" is.You will not find the traditional American Cuts (ribeye, strip, t-bon etc) here. You will find traditional cuts native to some Spanish speaking countries - either thinly sliced or marinated. However, the butcher did offer to slice some thicker cuts for me.What I noticed was 4 main cuts, all from different parts of the cow, all priced the same per pound. This is by design.Well worth the trip if you are looking for different cuts vs the traditional American cuts.I also found a nifty sun hat of a size I could not find at big box stores. I do have to take it off while rolling into my car though.”
