Lovely sound and sunset view. Very good dishes. We tried shrimp & grits as well as the seafood platter. All excellent.

Fantastic food, and their hushpuppies are to die for. I even ordered some of their mix to take come and my family loved them. The service was also top notch.

I grew up coming here and have been back the past few years. Food is delicious and they are known for their hushpuppies. Simple menu, good service, great views.

Got there at 6pm and there was a wait. Staffing shortages. Everywhere I guess. Either way, got seated in about 30 minutes. The waitress looked tired as there were only two on staff. Didn’t matter as she took our order brought us drinks and kept a good check on us. Food came, hot and delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly and the wife’s seafood Alfredo was spot on. Staffing issues or not, we’ll come back. Just check before you go so you’re not surprised by the wait. They do the best they can.

Restaurant with southern charm.. I had heard good things so we took the road-trip from jacksonville early evening to this local spot on the waterway. The restaurant is part of spot that includes a hotel. They sit on same property and share same name. Once you walk in there's a small enclosed lobby with local decor and shells . Then you walk into the restaurant with seating area and are greeted with big fish tank with fish crabs and other critters right at the register. I saw behind register they sell shirts from there too. We were seated as soon as we came in as it was a Thursday..they are not open everyday so when they are open you should get there early to get a good seat with window view on the waterway. We didn't get that table but we enjoyed our spot just as well. We had she crab soup which had lots of crab . The hush puppies were so good! A little sweet but not overly and they always come out hot!! I ordered seafood combo plate of shrimp and oysters.. came with fries and slaw but I focused on the seafood.. our waitress was Mattie and she was very attentive and very nice.. she took good care of us! Our meal was typical fried southern goodness but not heavily breaded.. my oysters were pretty big and pump so good!! This spot is not a chain at all you could see the staff cooking in back and working hard.. fishing and beachy decor lines the walls in the restaurant.. after dinner we took a walk onto the doc as sun was setting.. very peaceful and nice location.. feels miles away from reality!! Enjoyed our visit and would go again!!

I rarely get on here to write reviews, but this just needed to be said. Last night was a disappointing experience and I certainly won’t recommend this place at all. The waitress we had the misfortune of being paired with is better off working for Walmart, as they do a fine job at intentionally avoiding the customer. You can’t exactly do that as a server and be successful. Secondly, what kind of restaurant in the south charges extra for iced tea to go? I get it if it was something that could not be refilled, but to charge extra for cheap ice tea is beyond stupid. To add insult to an already festering injury, the tea was put in foam coffee cups so not only did we get charged the full price, we got half of the product. To top it off, when my food arrived from the kitchen I was told they were out of baked potatoes and had to choose another side. Like, that’d be nice to know early on before my food was cooking so I didn’t have to wait an additional 15 minutes for my fries to cook. The place was not busy as half the restaurant was empty so that’s no excuse to fall back on. Avoid this place like Covid.

Great food! Great service, once we got seated. There was quite a wait to get seated, but it was worth it! It was nice to be able to sit and see the sound as you eat.

They were under staffed and over priced. I ordered the trio seafood platter. 2 oysters, 3 scallops and 10 shrimp, for the low price of 25 dollars. Not to mention the 30 minute wait to get in to be seated

Decent seafood place. Nothing was a knockout, but nothing was bad. Clam strips were just typical Sysco, but everything else seemed to be done in-house. Fine for your fried seafood fix.

The service was good- our waitress was very attentive to our group. Unfortunately, the food wasn't the best tasting. The highlights were the hushpuppies and the service.

I usually love eating at the beach, after all, location! location! Seating with a view of the water. So I was disappointed at my experience at this restaurant. We were tucked in a corner table with barely enough room to move our chairs in or out. Our waiter was friendly but not knowledgeable about the menu. The fried pickles were good with a nice crisp taste. However, the breading on my scallops was mushy, as if made ahead and sitting under the warmer.Sadly, one visit was enough.

Yummy- lots of fried seafood on the menu. Lots of shrimp in the Alfredo pasta dish. Big enough to share!
