Sheryl is the best worker, she does an impeccable job, I got the best service in the world after losing my bank card. I have always had good service at any bank, but this is the best bank in my opinion!

I'm a new customer, they were so great to me. I had them deposit far too many savings bonds in one day. It was a gauntlet but they got me through it. Special thanks to Alanis for her hard work!

I went to the bank today to cash out my savings bonds (I had no idea how to do that) and the staff at this location were SO PATIENT and SO KIND. They gave me clear instructions and helped me take care of everything in one visit. The manager was available to support the tellers when they needed help with this unusual request, and she was so friendly. I'm excited to do more business here!

Took 1.5 hours and two visits to close and transfer a CD. They also managed to charge me a junk fee since I missed my automatic renewal deadline which fell on a major holiday. Switching to SOFI to avoid junk fees and get better service and better interest rates.

I want to recognize personal banker, Sheryl E. Johnson at the Wells Fargo 1080 Hitchings Way (Durham, NC) location, for her kindness, responsiveness and commitment to service. My encounter with Ms. Johnson occurred on October 18th, 2024, when I approached her with an urgent matter. She went out of her way to help me resolve the issue quickly. Her actions defined my experience with this branch as one that strives to provide a superior level of customer care. My sincere appreciation goes to Ms. Johnson and the staff at this branch.

From the tellers to upper management they are so kind, helpful and they care about their customers. They're personable and so sweet every time. Great customer service and it's so refreshing ☺️

I never leave reviews, but I feel obligated to for this Wells location. I actively avoid going to this place because of the negative experiences I’ve had there, but unfortunately it is the closest one to where I live, so I go there out of convenience sometimes. In the past, my main issue has been with their staff being completely incompetent. Once again, I had another experience with a moronic employee, but this time, I had to go to the next closest Wells Fargo to confirm that what this moron said was accurate regarding my account. Shocker, it wasn’t. So I get my transaction completed at a different Wells Fargo branch; when I explained to their employees why I was there and what the employees at the Wells on 54 told me, they looked confused. They apologized for this branch’s idiocy.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! I was able to get some foreign currency exchanged and deposited and Sheryl helped refund some fees to my account. I am grateful for the help the staff was able to provide!

The newly opened location is only for African American females! Customer service at the old location, a matter of yards from the new location, was some of the best customer service I have ever seen. They even had a person that would greet you at the door to help or guide you to the right person. Now in the new location, customer service is more than a joke, it's worse than pathetic! Avoid this location, especially if you are a man! When I walked in the door to get help with a bank letter I saw only three African American (AA) females working. The one "desk" Banker was with an AA female. One AA female was the only teller and one AA female was just behind the counter doing who knows what. The teller was helping a customer. There was a man sitting in the waiting area waiting for help. I was the forth customer in the building. There were no other customers. So, I waited in the teller line since there was no one else to help me or direct me otherwise. While waiting 10 minutes first in line for the AA teller to be done having a long chat with the AA female customer, two other AA females came in to the bank and stood in line behind me. Finally a forth AA female employee appears and to my surprise helps the two AA women behind me FIRST! Meanwhile the other male customer that was sitting in the waiting area, throws his hands up and leaves. Finally, this 4th AA female calls to "help" me (I don't know her name because no where was her name on her desk and her name tag was always covered by her light brown long hair, but as you walk in the building her desk was on the left closest to the teller counter). I sit down at her desk and explain what I needed, she then gets up to go help yet another AA woman leaving me to sit there. She comes back, we talk a bit more and she does it again! Leaves me to go help someone else. After waiting a long while, finally the first AA desk lady that was helping another AA female when I came in is free. And tells me she will now "help" me instead. So, now I had to go to her desk and start explaining what I needed all over again. She was not friendly either, but at least she had no one else in the bank to get up and help. So, my warning is to stay the HECK away from this branch, unless you are an AA female. It was almost an hour trying to get help and there where only three other customers when I first walked in.UPDATE!!! The whole experience just became worthless because I was notified that the Bank Rep. sent my letter request to the wrong department and apparently Wells Fargo doesn't have the ability to just transfer the request to the right department. I have to start my request all over again!!!
