Lake Norman State Park is a great location and beautiful park with paved and nicely separated sites. The campsites are one of the better campsites in North Carolina and the accommodations are immaculate. Prices are very reasonable and the facilities are immaculate. Hot water in shower is new and the showers are the nicest and new. Water pressure could be better and the water is hot. The park is great state park access for fishing, kayaking, hiking or swimming. Trails Laurel Loop are in great shape and the trail parking is good at the welcome center. A wonderful place for a day long trek and a day with nature less than 45 mins from the city center.

This is one of the better campsites that I've been to since I've been in North Carolina I have enjoyed the accommodations and I think you will too the prices are very reasonable and the facilities are immaculate
