Used to receive pkgs @ door, but not anymore!
Have physical limitations on bending & lifting from under mail boxes. We move our mail boxes to make it safer & same carrier refuses to deliver to house less than a mile, which is with in guidelines. My PO is 6-7 miles away. The worst

If you go to this post office to do your passport application, bring your own photo from Walgreens. These people took my picture; three months later, instead of getting my passport, I got a letter stating my passport photo was unusable and I needed to send another. Three months wasted because I assumed the post office employees knew what they were doing...now my trip of a lifetime is in jeopardy because sending a good photo will delay my passport application and it may not arrive in time. Thanks for a massive inconvenience and possibly cancelled trip.

Super nice folks, plenty of easy, on-street parking, not busy, plenty of supplies which are neat and orderly, clean, easy to book a passport appointment.

@Cynthia Olson, Guessing your pre-paid label was from a Landrum address, which is why they referred you to the Landrum post office? Landrum is in South Carolina vs. Tryon being in North Carolina. It's not the distance it's the state ? BTW, this happened to me, too. Ebay defaulted to my previous address in a different state. All I had to do was pay the difference in postage. Happily paid, no snark included!

Best service ever. Helpful, competent, friendly staff. Christy is especially delightful. This staff makes them chore of mailing packages a pleasant experience! So lucky to have these people!
