I stood at the counter for 10 minutes being ignored by the 2 associates in the store. I could see them and they could see me. They were too busy laughing and joking to involved in their personal conversation to assist a customer. I left with out my items. Maybe if the self check out was in working order you would have still made a sale. From a buisness stand point, this is behavior should not be tolerated.

This morning I Very Quickly needed Benadryl for my brother who was out walking from having Open Heart Surgery June 30,2025 and a wasp stung him on his hand. He’s Extremely Allergic to any wasp, bee, hornet venom. Of course at all times we didn’t have any Benadryl. I hurried to Dollar General in Vanceboro and the 2 young ladies working went over and beyond to help me get it from the shelf to purchase so I could get back to give to my brother which fortunately worked so he didn’t have to go to the Emergency Room. I give it a one star today because I just stopped there along with two other customers and the doors are locked, lights are on, and no cars were in the lot. No sign stating they will be back.

Normally it's a quick in and out but today my total wasn't adding up based upon the tags and discounts. However even through my distress Kiara and Ruth went above and beyond to assist me and make sure that I left there satisfied. Because of their outstanding help today I wanted to let it be known that we're nothing short of amazing ?

Dollar General saves you money!the shelves,are fully stocked & waiting for you! The manager & her assistant work very hard, their friendliness is awesome & tremendously nice. Prices are excellent,the restrooms are clean.The establishment is very safe to walk around the aisles.Visit soon....
