WORST post office I have EVER had the misfortune of dealing with. The carrier in the Mt. Pleasant/690 area is not worth a plug nickel. Two Saturdays ago I was home and heard my package being tossed/dropped onto my front porch. I was watching TV but the thud of the package hitting the porch was louder than the TV. I immediately went out and confronted the carrier who denied doing it. I told him I heard it over the TV and that my son has witnessed him tossing a neighbor's package onto their porch a month or so ago. Today 2-18-2020 I was expecting a package that was "out for delivery" but it was not delivered, The tracking info says a notice was left in the mailbox which it was not. Calling the Postmaster at this post office is a waste of time because she is as useless as the carriers. What can you expect...birds of a feather flock together. This post office is in dire need of real leadership and someone who knows how to handle their carriers. I did have a postal carrier to tell me to call the 800 number and complain to customer service Maybe if enough of us call and complain, they will do something about this excuse of a post office.
9/16/24 UPDATE - Service of this excuse of a post office continues to decline. I have security cameras all around my home and today, while it was pouring down rain, I watched the carrier place my package that contains 2 electronic boards on the back porch our in the rain. Mind you my front porch is covered and screened in and I have asked the postmaster on numerous occasions to have the carriers place the packages there. Number 1 they would be protected for the rain and number 2 they would be out of site but the driver of a white minivan is TOO FAT AND LAZY to take the extra steps. As I continued to watch this carrier, she backs out all over my wet, saturated yard instead of staying in the driveway...GO BACK TO DRIVER'S ED AND LEARN TO DRIVE!!! All of this is recorded on camera for future lawsuit.

The man that works the front desk at the Vass post office needs to be terminated. he is the absolute worst and has no understanding of customer service. He obviously hates his job. He barely uttered a word when I brought an envelope to be mailed. In addition I asked 2 questions and he couldn't answer either one. His attitude is totally combative for no reason. It is not like he is overworked and whatever he is being paid it is too much.

I usually have good experiences here but the gentleman today could've just given me the stamps I asked for instead of the snarky attitude and snooty looks.

Is this post office understaffed or are they just not trained in customer service? They've already lost two of my packages and never responded to my inquiries. The front desk woman also had a bad attitude even though I was being polite and just trying to find out what could have happened. I guess online shopping isn't the best option for the Vass area because I'm just eating the cost of purchases.

They are joke cant send packages to the intended reciever. Which im only an hour n a half away from Vass, also no way of contacting a person through their phone number. Its a B.S. recording they need to step up Covid excuses are no longer working!! Has been well over a week my package is ????????????

If I could give them no stars I would. They keep losing or stealing my packages . Delivering them to the wrong house . Then when I call the post office to find out why it's marked as delivered but not at my house the woman that runs the office acts like she can't be bothered. Or I should wait and see if it turns up the next day because she doesn't know .

Every time a large package needs to be delivered i get a message that delivery attempted but no one home to receive. Has happened multiple times and every time someone has been home all day. Try to call and cant talk to a real person. Takes a couple days to track down my package. Basically comes down to there to lazy to get out and carry the box to the front door.
