HUGE price gauging - very disappointing for a AAA location. Long story short they tried charging $1800 for a car that only needed ~$400 of repairs.
My partner had her car towed here after breaking down. First of all, the diagnostic charge was $150 which is already pricey. Then they quoted an extra $1580 for four new spark plugs and ignition coils, plus a "recommended" fuel service which was an unnecessary add-on ($220). Their initial estimate total for these services was $2000. Instead I wisely ended up paying $100 to get the car towed to the Wake Forest Meineke Car Care Center who gave me a fair and realistic quote of only $370. The car only needed ONE ignition coil replaced plus the four plugs. Tried to call AAA to negotiate over the phone and the woman on the phone wouldn't budge. Best they could do for just the one coil and four plugs? $996. Don't take your car here, plenty of other great shops in the area.

After being a customer here for over 8 years, I will no longer be back. After bringing it in for routine maintenance, my key fob hasn't worked correctly since. I understand that routine maintenance is not supposed to have anything to do with the FOB, but it did this time. I called the location asking for help and was told Terry would call me back. That never happened. They've lost my trust at this location. Customer service line told me it was a "weird coincidence" and refused to take accountability. I'm considering not renewing my AAA membership now.

BEWARE!!!! I have been bringing my Honda Odyssey there for 2 years for oil changes and major repairs, the only place we take it. Last year we paid thousands of dollars to get our vehicle running well including full timing chain. Then just 8 months later they tell us we need to spend another 7-8k to get everything where it needs to be (would have made a difference making the decision to spend funds on the timing chain). Well, the other day the battery goes dead I open up the hood. Battery hold down bracket missing, battery floating there, air filter hardware missing. They are the ONLY ones who worked on the vehicle the last 2 years. I'm starting to wonder if they even replaced the timing chain?

If you want your car stolen and towed away from anyone with a tow truck, take your car here. They released my car to a tow truck driver after being told not to release my car.

While driving, I got a shimmy in the rear of my Dodge Dakota. I called AAA at 11:00 am. They told me the road service would be there by 1:45. I called again at 2:00. They said it was on the way and would be there by 2:20. At 2:30 they still had not arrived. Called again. This time the driver said he would be there by 2:45. He arrived at 2:55. He was a very pleasant, nice man. He dropped my truck at AAA about 4:00 and they started working inon it the next day. A rear emergency brake had stuck and was dragging a rear wheel. They gave me a quote of $2100, which included new front brakes too. They finally finished 3 days later. When I picked it up, the brake pedal was soft. It went almost all the way to the floor. They assured me that they had test driven it and everything was good. They pulled it back in the shop and changed the brake fluid again. Still soft pedal. Second time changing fluid. It still was soft, but better. I said that I would dive it home, but told them I w ould take it to my own mechanic if needed. They said that I had to bring it back to them. ( Over 50 miles away.) After further discussion they said I could take it to any mechanic that was associated with AAA. Terrible service. The only good thing I can say about them is they did pull it back in and continue to work on it. ( I guess they didn't want a lawsuit if my brakes failed.). A week later the pedal is still soft, although better. I will give it more time before I take it to my regular mechanic. I will upgrade the review if the problem works its way out.

Charged me $500 to replace a single brake line. Only $99 of that was parts. Even worse price-gouging than Chapel Hill Tire. Don’t take your car here.

So my hybrid 12 volt battery died. Sam's club doesn't have these. Tried aaa (we have been members for 30+ years) .Initial greeting was " I think I just sold the last one". Another service person actually checks . They had more in stock. Quoted 260for battery, 75.99 for installation, 27 for supplies, plus tax ++++. 390.00. Claimed it was a difficult install. When asked, they explained supplies as just a charge like terminal cleaners ( on a new battery??). Wouldn't sell parts only because of warranty issues. Walked out, called Leith and got a battery for 191.00. I installed it in 13 minutes.. with 7 year warranty. I don't do this for a living and they call this difficult. They lost a customer and credibility in less than 5 minutes. They call this a club??

I had AAA replace my ignition lock cylinder, after my key kept getting stuck in my ignition. 2 days later, my car completely shut off as I was making a turn, and I ended up running onto the sidewalk (thankfully there no pedestrians on the sidewalk.) Then, when I returned home, my key was once again, stuck in my ignition.
When I called AAA, Glenn informed me that I would need to bring my car in and pay another $400 to have it fixed.
I took my car to another mechanic and he told me (that in his professional opinion) my clock spring, behind my steering wheel had been messed with.
It is my opinion that this was intentional as to create more unnecessary mechanical issues, in order to charge me more $$$.
I ended up canceling my AAA membership due to this experience.
Egregious customer service and poor quality of work.

DYWANE... IS THE MECHANIC, I dropped off my car to have ONE AND I REPEAT ONE PROBLEM FIXED! I was charged 1,488 and received my car back with exact SAME PROBLEM! I'm thinking they'll fix it as it was the SAME PROBLEM OCCURRING. NOPE TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER 1,300 TO GET SAID PROBLEM RESOLVED. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN HAD! I have 2 pages of things supposedly fixed. And the things they called themselves fixing did not have a issue!!!I'm disappointed and feel like they're getting over on women. Don't take your car here unless you're rich and have money to burn!!
