I deposited a cashier's check for a large amount. Certified funds. 7 days later we are still waiting on the funds to be released. The reason. They said they had to make sure it wasn't a fake check mind you this is a cashier's check from SECU. I definetly was profiled that's how I feel about this situation. Closing the account asap.

I usually go to a First Horizon bank in Durham, but was in the Wake Forest area to make a large purchase. An unexpected problem came up and so I went to the Wake Forest branch. The teller (Garnet) was extremely helpful in resolving this, going above and beyond my expectations. I greatly appreciate this bank's help in working out this situation to a positive result.

This bank doesn't deserve the one star you have to put to comment but Jamie who is supposed to be a branch manager was extremely rude uncaring and disrespectful I was trying to cash a CASHIERS check and emphasize cashiers because she refused to cash it for me without putting a hold on it!! Who puts a hold a guaranteed funds??????I got to the bank before closing and she said because after debating with me why she didn't want to cash it, it could have been fraud, the bank was closed now and she did not want to take the time to verify it that I could go the bank it was drawn on yet I have account here!! Go figure!! As she continues to say she is closed she cutting of lights walking away saying sorry she was leaving very rude!!! I know I was stereotyped here in this situation but she'll swear I wasn't but I was but just know this manager has no intentions on going above and beyond for her customers just a heads up!!

I absolutely love first horizon! The customer service is always great and it feels good to be known on a first name bases vs another customer. The staff is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to assist you. I highly recommend !

I banked with them for 3 years and I use to love them, under new management now and all went under. We have a small business and with covid things slowed down for us and they started holding our checks which caused us to not be able to pay our men which caused us to lose employees. When I asked to speak to someone on a higher end she told me she was the higher person. Really miss when Gustavo was in charge. We are now switching banks and never recommending this bank. If I could give a lower recommendation on how she spoke to me I would.

Gustavo is always helpful and friendly. I cannot imagine him being otherwise. This branch is amazing all the tellers are wonderful. I prefer this bank to the BOA which is another bank I use.

Horrible customer service! Bank puts the interest of themselves above their customers. When calling about an issue, Branch manager Gustavo was extremely disrespectful! We will be banking elsewhere.
