I wish I could give negative stars.I went in about 7:25 pm to trade a game system in and purchase a new game system, and they refused to do the transaction.They said come back early in the morning.I called another location in Raleigh and was told to come in any time, that they don’t have any time rules.

I don’t even want to give this racist game stop a 1 star I came in with my fiancé on March 3, 2023 around 4:15pm and was racially profiled by a worker name Chris! That morning My fiancé purchased a used ps4 controller about 2-3 hours later we realized the controller wasn’t working properly so we went to return it. The worker by the name Chris was very rude and racist! He walked to the counter with an attitude and a disgusted look on his face. He snatched the controller from my fiancé hand and proceeded to inspect the controller. He then claimed that we were trying to scam him. He stated that the controller we just purchased was not purchased here and that it was very old. I stated that we just purchased this controller you can look at the time and date on the receipt. He then stated that he can clearly see that and he doesn’t believe us he felt as thought we were trying to scam him. When we asked if the associated who originally helped us was still on duty he walked to the back with an attitude. When he came back he then let us exchange the controller for a different one. All in all we spent 30 minutes in this game stop when it was supposed to be a quick exchange. I am disappointed that as an African American couple we were racially profiled, I thought this was a place that welcomed all sadly I see it’s not and won’t be coming to this location anymore.

They had a huge sale when we went in. The lady helped us so much by recommending what she thought was best fit for what I was looking for. Had a great experience. By the way, my daughter loved it!

Casey and Shelby have excellent customer service.If it wasn't for those two wonderful ladiesI would have no longer been a Customer of GameStop a while ago. They go above and beyond to help the customers with issues that the company is responsible for even though there store is not at fault. Both of them deserve promotions . If they leave that store I'm not shopping there any more . Game stop employees are awesome.people it's the corporate offices decisions and practices that have me ready to abandon ship. The employees at wake forest GameStop is the only thing keeping that location afloat

Store says 11:00 on door and I sat in parking lot for an hour waiting I understand if it's wrong online due to pandemic but not on ure door we're u can fix it easy

I've been to this GameStop a few times since moving to Wake Forest. I visited again after a few margaritas down the road, curious if they had the PS5 (of course, with the many calls and visits to GameStops since the console came out, I was 99.99% sure they didn't have them). Surprise! They were having a bundle deal for Pro Rewards Members and we FINALLY got a console!! The cashier was super helpful and amazing to us. She gave us the correct deal that other employees apparently were not abiding to during the day (though we waited around patiently while she made calls to make sure which deal was correct). We are stoked that we finally got a PS5 and are thankful this location was doing an awesome bundle deal.
