Big decline in customer service. The pharmacist was rude, she questioned my doctor's medication choices, questioned me (interrogated) as to my diagnosis, what treatment options have been tried, and said she would have to call my doctor for further information. I ended up transferring my medications and my family's medications as well. Awful way to speak to someone, no empathy, no care and apparently in the wrong field since she is wanting to diagnose and treat patients.

Absolutely the best place I’ve been for medications!! I have only met one that wasn’t that great- she seemed like it might have been her 1st day. My husband and I have been going there for about a month now. They were able to transfer all our prescriptions from Walmart to Publix without a single hiccup- my medications were filled quickly and the staff was friendly. I almost didn’t want to do a review in case people saw it and everyone rushed to Publix but I have faith the staff will remain just a friendly and professional! Thanks guy for all you do!

Poor customer service and terrible communication. Will be switching to a pharmacy that uses common sense.

The pharmacy is unnecessarily difficult to work with. I called to see if they had a medication that I take which is difficult to find due to shortages that have been ongoing for years now. The person on the phone refused to tell me if they had enough to cover my 30 day supply without my doctor sending in a written prescription first.
The problem is- I have to verify if the pharmacy has the inventory to cover my prescription before asking my doctor to send it there. Due to the class of med, my doctor has to write a new prescription and directly send it to said pharmacy. So every time I get a message from a pharmacy saying they don’t have the meds in-stock, it delays me getting medication by a day or more because I then have to wait for my doctor to take time out of their busy schedule to send the prescription to another pharmacy.
When they won’t tell you if they have it in stock or not, it feels like they’re treating you like a drug seeking criminal. I’m not trying to knock over your pharmacy for drugs, I’m just trying to get my prescription filled before I run out and suffer withdrawal symptoms.
Then before they filled it, they call me to tell me the price because I don’t have insurance; I use GoodRx. On the GoodRx app the medicine was listed for $157, the pharmacy tells me that the pricing on the app is ‘only an estimate’ and that the price I will be charged is $205 for a 30 day supply. Actually, that’s false. If this happens to you, call GoodRx immediately to have them contact the pharmacy. Publix pharmacy has agreed to the GoodRx pricing program, that’s why they are listed on the app, which holds them responsible to honor the pricing listed on the app. They just don’t want to have to do the extra typing or spend the time to give you the discount, I guess.
I know pharmacy staffs are overworked and have to jump through a lot of insurance hoops etc. but please try not to pass along your frustration to your customers by being difficult to work with. Regardless of the process, we still need our medications filled. If you just do what’s right (in other words- your job,) the process will go so much smoother for both the staff and customer. Just imagine the person on the end of that phone being your mom or dad- treat that customer with the same respect you’d want your own loved one’s to receive.

Deli is awful. They have 10 people working and no one ask if you need help. Today I waited 10 minutes and the girl working at the deli ask the lady behind me if she needed help. I usually go to Lowes Foods for deli meat. Now I know why.

The only bright spot in the midst of other miserable experiences. We moved the area a few months ago and I will be switching all of our prescriptions to this pharmacy after this experience. Mirielle made picking up my first ever prescription here a breeze. It was an extremely pleasant experience after a terrible time at an urgent care and another pharmacy.

I just left the heritage pharmacy after waiting 40 minutes in the drive thru. There was a person who should have been asked to come in. There were 6 cars behind me. Those who could get out left and by the time I was able to drive up , more cars. The lady pharmacist is the one you need to speak to. This is not acceptable for the drive thru.

After a terrible and quite frankly traumatic experience at Walgreens, I called this pharmacy to see if they could help. Janet, one of the pharmacy techs, was unbelievably kind and put my mind and heart at ease regarding some of the aspects of a prescription I’m starting. I can’t say enough about how grateful I felt.

I have never had a single issue and the staff is fantastic.

The new Pharmacy manager was UNWILLING to call my insurance company to discuss an issue we were having. I called all parties involved to figure out a resolution and not once did this manager bother to discuss it with my insurance who he claimed was the issue even after I spoke with them directly and they said nothing changed on their end. Also instead of taking the phone to discuss with me directly when I called back he let his pharmacy tech assist me and didn't ever speak to me directly. He told me via his tech that "this dollar amount was the best he could do and that was it" In the past I really loved this location, but the lack of care shown by this manager was enough to make me go elsewhere.

I've had excellent service and experiences here. I've been using them for several years. I currently don't have insurance, but they always run prescriptions through good Rx automatically. When I've had to transfer prescriptions from other pharmacies, they've made it extremely. The people are nice and helpful. I used Walgreens for a short time last year due to insurance requirements, and it was never a good experience.

A year ago I would have said this pharmacy was great. However lately when I've been getting my refills, I've dealt with rude staff. Last week I wanted to refill my script, & asked the tech if they could check to see if the med was in stock. I was immediately told no, that they didn't have time. It's takes 10 secs to put me on hold, then walk to the shelf , & see if a med is in stock. I was even willing to wait several minutes. Then the tech would not let me speak , after I was told even though the med is in stick, I had to call in tomorrow to get it, because the current pharmacist couldn't approve my refills. Whenever I tried to ask a question the tech continued talking over me, which made me have to yell, & ask if I can speak. I was then placed on hold for like 10mins.I ended up having to physically go to the pharmacy to ask why that pharmacist couldnt approve my med.All of that for a different person to actually listen to me, answer my questions, & get my script approved, & filled.I knew I'd be able to get it filled, & was trying to explain that to the Tech, but she over talked me & kept trying to get me off the phone, instead of allowing me to ask further questions.Horrible service from the tech Ruby.Even if the staff is tired, & overworked... which I'm sure they are... being rude to customers is never okay.Over talking a client, & not allowing them to ask a question is not ok.Telling someone to call back in 2hrs... to see if a med is in stock, when you can wk 10ft , & look and see ...is not ok.

In the past, I would have given this pharmacy 5 stars, as I experienced great service for a number of years and found the pharmacy techs to be very personable. But, it now has a new pharmacist most days of the week and other new staff who lack any compassion and seem to take pride in furthering the suffering of customers. I have been through 20 major surgeries over the past 15 years, including a heart transplant, spinal fusion and 2 laparotomies. I suffer from chronic pain and see a pain management specialist who prescribes me Oxycodone. While there is a national Oxycodone shortage, Publix pharmacy had plenty in stock to tide me over until their next order was to arrive. However, the pharmacy did not have enough tablets to fill my entire prescription when I ran out. In the past, the pharmacy manager, Cody Hampton— who DOES care about customers— always gave me a partial fill in such cases and then I picked up the remainder of the prescription when more came in. I was also given partial fills at Wake Forest Drug before they went out of business and at other pharmacies. Doing partial fills is a common and legal practice. However, this week when I tried to have my prescription of Oxycodone filled, I was told that the pharmacist named Christina decided she “wasn’t comfortable” with giving me a partial fill, so I would just have to do without any Oxycodone for a couple of days. Therefore, she chose to put me through opioid withdrawal rather than give me a partial fill. Again, they had plenty of Oxycodone to tide me over until they received more but she obviously didn’t care about me, the customer. The opioid epidemic in this country is not fueled by people with legal prescriptions for opioids! It is fueled by those who buy illegal drugs on the street— esp things that the user doesn’t realize is laced with fentanyl. But, this pharmacist named Christina apparently holds some stereotype about opioid users and took pleasure in making me sick. In fact, this type of behavior by pharmacists like her contribute to the epidemic because some who are dependent on opioids will go to the streets to get medication when faced with this kind of cruelty because those dependent on opioids get seriously I’ll when forced to stop cold turkey. I have a lot of pain in spite of being on opioids but when on nothing, it is horrible plus there is the muscle cramping, nausea, GI problems and BP issues withdrawal causes. Christina clearly views chronic pain sufferers as less than others and I encourage you not to support a pharmacy staffed by a pharmacist with this kind of despicable character. I’ll be filling my prescriptions elsewhere hereafter.

This is by far the BEST pharmacy around! Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and willing to help. I travel 20 minutes just to use this pharmacy.
