I got my dog from saving grace and he has been a perfect fit into my home(I had him for a week long sleepover that turned into a lifetime stay). I think they have great facilities and staff but I have had dogs sent home with me for weekend sleepovers twice with medical issues(kennel cough and bloody diarrhea) in which I was concerned of my own dog contracting. I understand this can happen and hold them at no fault, just think they should check the dogs out before sending them into sleepovers. Other thing that isn’t applicable to me but I do find having the “high demand breeds” like doodles/poodles being double in adoption fee to be unfair. It’s a rescue and all dogs should have the same opportunity as well as people looking for those breeds who are thankfully looking into adopting could easily be deterred from that. Other than those things I love saving grace and what they are doing for thousands of dogs a year!

Saving Grace is an incredible organization - our family is so lucky to have been able to find our first dog, Glade, there. The process was organized and thorough, the staff knowledgeable and professional, and Glade is a remarkable dog. It was wonderful to be able to visit and meet the dogs in an open, safe, and beautiful space. We feel that the time and care of Saving Grace made it possible to match with a rescue that is right for our family, and came with excellent knowledge and preparation, in addition to comprehensive medical care and documentation, setting us up to be successful pet parents. Thank you!

Remarkable place. The dogs are really living a life of luxury in this oasis. You can tell the dogs are loved and nurtured. The staff are so friendly and understanding, attempting to find the right pup for you with every need. There were 9 days between us choosing Flicker and bringing her home as she had a respiratory infection. The team there are amazing and so many lovable dogs to cuddle while sorting paperwork. Amazing place and no doubt one day we will be back to rescue another.

I volunteer at saving grace and I am always amazed how many dogs are left at shelters. I love volunteering here because the dogs are all so well cared for and have plenty of opportunities for play and freedom. The grounds are beautiful and the dogs get to take full advantage of every open space. They are well fed and cared for. So many people come together to help and make sure each dog gets some individual attention. They have some great programs too like taking dogs on hikes and being able to have a dog sleepover for the weekend so they can get used to being in a home setting. The dogs are given so many opportunities to find great homes and while they are here they are loved on by all the volunteers.

I LOVE this hiking program with the shelter pups! It’s such a great way to start a weekend morning and do some exercise that means so much to the dogs. The pups are so grateful to be off the property (even though Saving Grace is absolutely beautiful and filled with the nicest volunteers), but this lets the pups be in their element and explore. I don’t know Greg and Scott well but they have been guides on both of the hikes I’ve done and they are the nicest guys. Good work SG! Great program.

Saving Grace is is a pretty little farm where animals wander around outside freely, meeting humans who have come to adopt a dog. Before coming to Saving Grace, I filled out an adoption request and then checked their website to see what dogs were available. Potential adopters can just browse the gallery of profiles or filter them out by age, gender, breed and length of stay. The photos and descriptions of each dog give an idea of what they are like. If you see a dog (or dogs) you like online, don't delay. Make an appointment to visit tthe farm as soon as possible. Even if the dog you came for isn't available or isn't what you expected, there are plenty of others who may be even better. My husband and I were looking for a pug, but ended up falling in love with a Boston terrier we named Endeavor (after Inspector Morse.) Although one dog is probably all I can handle, I can't help checking out the website to see what other dogs may be there. Saving Grace is what dog heaven must be like!

Adopting Elora from Saving Grace was a wonderful experience! The facility is outstanding in every way to make pet adoption a memorable, happy experience. If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would go to a 10! Elora is an adorable family member who gives back all the love we give her. What a gift!

Four years ago, just before Covid shut the world down, my fiancé and I decided the time was right to bring a dog into the family. After some consultation with our friends, Saving Grace was the org we chose - and it was an amazing decision. Our friends told us that saving grace cared about the animals’ quality of life above all else. They screen their adopters, they give each pup and dog regular health care, they do not permit unethical breeding and subsequently spay or neuter to prevent this and only do so once the dog or cat has reached the healthy age. They don’t keep their animals in crates 24/7 and they don’t undersized crates for cost saving. Animals get to play safely, are protected, and are treated.
First of all, the team was so easy to coordinate with. We reached out via email and asked about scheduling a visit to their location. We selected a date and a window of time, and WOW! We did not expect to see a full canine **sanctuary.** Across some acres were heaps of play areas, loafing lazy dogs, oldie bears ready for a tummy rub, and toys and the smell of dogs galore! The coordinator onsite asked what sizes we were looking for, any idea on temperament or activity level. After a couple of minutes, she knew exactly where to take us. She walked us over to a huge playpen containing what became known as the Marvelous Mrs Maisel litter and a few one offs from other litters that really loved playing with these kiddos. The mom had been found by SG when she was pregnant and she gave birth in the care of an SG foster.
After some time in the play space, we found our guy. His name is Joel and he’s become a pivotal fixture in our family. We’ve gone hiking, swimming, playing, running, and frisbee’ing. He’s become a part of my heart and watching his snoot get gray is the greatest honor and sadness of my life. Thank you to saving Grace for such an amazing partner in Joel.

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a couple of weeks now. First off i am very pleased with my experience, i found my Bestfriend and my fur baby! When I took him to the vet he had a clean bill of health no flees, no parasites just a loving boy. I also went to get his temperament test for doggy daycare and he also passed with flying Colors and gets along well with other dogs and kids. Please look no further for your new family member, saving grace is the place to go.

They were helpful with choosing a puppy/dog. Usually a big variety to choose from. I would maybe touch up on everyone’s knowledge to make sure there isn’t any misinformation but other than that, really good place. I would recommend them.

I wish I had made my appointment earlier in the day so I could have spent all day there! The grounds were beautiful and filled with happy doggos lounging in the shade, swimming in the many pools, or just following humans around. The staff and volunteers were absolutely amazing. I left with and sweet and extremely gentle hound mix and couldn't be happier.

We adopted a puppy from Saving Grace two weeks ago. Our first impression of the visit was that the dogs there all looked happy and healthy, and the staffs were all very caring. Our second impression was how thorough the adoption process and documents were, including medical history, tips on caring for adopted dogs, etc. After having the adopted puppy for two full weeks and a comprehensive checkup by our vet, we feel even more positive about Saving Grace!

Friendly staff. Beautifully maintained grounds. More like the garden.
