How can it be ok to refuse payment on a small lottery ticket prize. I can see $100 or $500 winner being a problem in some cases but this guy refused ANY ticket prize awards, even a $10 winner. He was ok to blackmail me into trading in for new tickets though. Just seems shady to me.

The Rose Mart/Shell on 999 Durham Rd #101, Wake Forest is not a safe place! On the morning of August 1, 2024, my wife and mother of two got a flat tire. She slowly and carefully pulled into the back of the parking lot. Shortly afterward, she was harassed and had the cops called on her by the owners. She called roadside assistance when she was forced to pull off the road. She walked into the store and informed the workers that she had a flat tire, and they said they understood. She also went to the nearby food truck and apologized if she was in the way. When the owner arrived, he approached the car aggressively. She explained that she couldn't move the car because the tire was completely flat and resting on the rim. To move the car would cause significant damage. The owner angrily expressed that she needed to move because it was his property, and she was in his parking spot. He then parked his vehicle perpendicular to hers, blocking her in. At no point did this man offer to help a stranded woman. Instead, he yelled and cursed at my wife and then threatened to call the police…and he did. My wife, stranded in a parking lot, watched as two officers approached her car as if she had committed a criminal act. As a black woman, you can imagine the anxiety and fear that rushed through her body. She thought about our children, she thought about me, and all of this because of her disabled vehicle. The officers who arrived on the scene were very gracious and understanding. They explained to the owner that she could not move the car and that he would need to wait for her roadside assistance. He then began to yell at the officers to no avail. After several hours, AAA failed to produce a tow truck. There was no phone call, no way to report that her environment was hostile. Then, the owner's wife repeatedly asked why she had not moved the car. She was harassed repeatedly. After being stranded for seven hours without any help from AAA, she contacted a private towing company that provided a driver in less than two hours. Raleigh Towing & Recovery saved the day. It is very out of character for me to come to Facebook with a complaint or a story to share. Still, I never want another woman, another mother, or another person to experience the anguish my wife experienced. I will never patronize this store, and I hope you choose wisely. A special thank you to the outstanding Wake Forest police officers who helped diffuse the situation, Raleigh Towing & Recovery for saving the day, the kind strangers who offered help, and the wonderful folks at the food truck who offered food and support.

Fix your pumps! They have not accepted credit cards properly for months.

The Rosemart Shell is a nice gas station and convenience store. The prices here tend to run 10 cents higher than the stations down the road though. T Mobile has a discount on Tuesdays for Shell gas so with the discount the price is about the same. The pumps also don't have the tap feature so you need to insert your credit card which isn't as secure as I'd like.

Prices where off the charts. Had signs with prices for premium gas. In a pinch I needed to stop, unfortunately they did not carry 93 octane. I had to move 9n to another gas station on empty.

The owners of this Shell station are amazing. I have been shopping here for years and they are always so helpful and friendly. Even after moving away for a couple of years, they not only remembered me but greeted me as if I was a long-lost friend. They also have beautiful plants and other merchandise not found in most gas stations. Definitely stop here if in the area.

1/2/22 - this was my last gas station stop for the night. I went inside knowing what I was looking for. I looked all on the candy aisle then the other aisles. This store didn't have what I planned on getting, so I left. I knew the Asian Indian lady for looking at my every move when I came in. When I left out empty handed, she yelled at me "excuse me sir, can I help you". I'm a female, it's not that hard to tell. I said yelled back "no you cant, you don't have what I want". She then asks what I was looking for. I said no then pulled up a picture on my phone. She gave a dumb look and I left out saying "rude as$ needs to stop yelling and being rude". She looked puzzled and that was it. This was my 3rd time at that store and my 2nd time counting her being rude due to skin color. I will be filing a complaint of any and all kinds. I don't recommend going to the store part nor going in just to go to DD.

I was at this store on 8/6/21. I stood in line and waited to be serviced. No gas, just a couple of lottery tickets and a soda. Apparently the owner felt that I had an error on a ticket. Without allowing me to explain what I wanted. The owner, an elder Indian man started to impatiently yell at me stating that he cannot identify what numbers I intended on playing. As he became more irate, my friend and another male customer asked him to calm down. The male customer, which I owe thanks to, announced that I was a woman, and that he was certainly not being a professional business owner by speaking to women in that manner. A Caucasian woman customer was next in line obviously furious and impatient that I was not understanding the owner. He held onto my choice on the ticket sheet and would not allow me to see what he felt the error was. The Caucasian woman rudely left with a scowling facial expression. I PUT MY ITEMS DOWN AND LEFT……THERE IS NOT AN ITEM IN HIS STORE THAT IS WORTH PURCHASING FOR THE PRICE OF YOUR SELF-DIGNITY AND PEACE particularly in the racial climate and tension in which we live. I have no idea why the Caucasian woman was so upset. As an African-American woman, one idea comes to mind. Now I will never patronize the store again. One lesson…. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF HOW FOLK TREAT YOU! By all means…..Never allow poor treatment regardless of your race, gender, sexual classification, religion..etc.

This gas station has everything- taco truck , car wash, convenience store and low gas prices. If you get a car wash, you save ten cents per gallon of gas. I have not tried the taco truck yet but will next time. Great location.

I've got to give these folks a great review. With Florence on it's way, gas and propane we're is short supply. I went in and asked if they has replacement propane tanks. They did not, but said they might get a delivery. They took my name and cell. Sure enough, I got a call and they had one there for me when I arrived! Good folks for sure.

Nice station! During one stop here, the locking gas cap on my vehicle jammed; I was without a proper set of tools, so I struggled with it for a while. An employee on his way out of the store noticed my problem, offered to assist, and had the cap removed very quickly. (I don't know his name; he was wearing a jacket, and I could just see the Shell logo on his shirt.)

According to the store hours, the station closed at 11PM on the Wednesday I arrived just before 10:45. Almost immediately after my arrival, the lights were turned off so I ended up pumping gas in the dark. At 10:50, someone left and I was left filling up my car alone at a dark gas station. If you want to close before 11PM, change your store hours, I do not appreciate filling up in the dark in spite of finishing 7 minutes before stated closing time.
