Took my car here a year back for an oil change because I was short on time. Cut to today I’m personally changing my oil now after 5k miles and finding that they stripped the threads to my oil pan. They did not inform me of this and instead used a Helicoil and some lock tight. This is a dangerous fix and when I unfastened the bolt it came loose after one twist and wasn’t secured at all. Now after changing my oil i cannot use my car till I find a replacement pan for an uncommon car. For a job as simple as an oil change I’d expect one of the longest owned auto shops in Wakeforest to not use an impact to change my oil.

I've had both my motorcycle and truck inspected here. They are reasonably priced, quick and knowledgeable. I moved out of Wake Forest but I still go there for my vehicles because it's worth the drive knowing I get reliable service there.

I was told this shop doesn't support or repair Subaru vehicles. While I understand not wanting the expense of special tools etc. , it's not as if Subaro is some niche brand. They sold three quarter of a million vehicles in the US last year.

Oil change was a great experience. I am a woman in my late twenties so I've been told to be careful at mechanic shops. The owner listened to me and was upfront about costs. He explained things if I didn't understand. I felt I was respected and treated fairly. Shop was friendly and efficient. I'm grateful for the service here.
