The Bike Guy is a full service bike shop located right on the Neuse River Trail, with the greenway beginning at its front door. It is the only recumbent trike shop in the area, dealing in brands like Catrike, TerraTrike, Sun, and Ice Trike. The shop is service strong, performing tune-ups, fixes, and customizations on all brands and types of bikes, including recumbents. It specializes in electric bike systems, installing Falco, Bionx, and eRad systems. The shop offers rentals of dozens of bikes, including tandems, trail-a-bikes, baby trailers, ebikes, hybrid, and mountain bikes. The rental bikes are in excellent condition and are a good match for the trail. The team is friendly, helpful, fast, fair, and knowledgeable. Bought a Marin hybrid. Great staff. All of them very friendly and knowledgeable. the owner Rob was very patient and not pushy and helpful/educational in the process for someone like me, a very casual rider and not a bike person per se. The whole process was a pleasure and a very good deal.
