Cleanest ladies bathroom I've ever seen on the road! Koodos to all the employees for a great job well done ❤️?

Used to serve good food. But poor management has killed this place. After 2 1/2 months of being closed due to “staffing shortages”, they were supposed to reopen today. Evidently, they changed the hours to being open only a couple of hours so the staff could be trained. Who manages this place?? You couldn’t find workers & train them adequately in over 2 months? That says more about the management than it does the employees!

Subs are tastier than fast food & staff is friendly. There are picnic tables & dog run out back. A good break as we head home from the beach.

Shout out to the hard working folks there. During this shortage, they have been extremely professional. Good on you all.

It could be worse. Expensive gas, nasty bathroom, dirty and not friendly staff. It does look nice on the out side.

Been to this store many times..but never at at the Village Subs inside. I have to say that was a great sub sandwich that really hit the spot. The meat was sliced fresh right in front of me and made perfectly to my order. Prices were decent as well. Definitely recommend if you're in that area..and want something different than a burger or usual drive-thru food.

Almost all customers were not wearing masks and did not keep a distance. Awful

The Village Store was clean, had amazing bathrooms, friendly staff, a small dog park, a deli, and indoor/outdoor seating. It is one of the best gas stations I have ever been to.

I work retail. If someone comes in 30 seconds before my closing time, they get the same service as someone who was there 30 seconds after I opened. Not the case here. They close at 7pm. I walked in at 6:50. The reason I was this close to closing time is that I had been at work and a customer came in as I was locking up. I had literally just locked the door. I let them in so they could get what they wanted. I walked into Village Subs 10 minutes before they closed and was told I could get anything that they didn't have to use the slicer for. I wanted an Italian Sub. They couldn't do it because I guess they had already cleaned the slicer. I said nevermind, I will go somewhere else. At that point, if I had been the employee, I would have said I will get you what you want and reclean the slicer, rather than have the customer walk away. If you don't need my money then I won't spend it here. The food is great but that kind of customer service leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

Just wanted something quick at a fuel-up stop right off of I-40 and hot the jackpot with Village Subs......no more Bojangles (same exit) for me - Village makes a great fresh sandwich. My club had a full inch of meat onboard, and just as at Subway, one get to choose bread, condiments, spices and veggie adds (very fresh here!) as the sub is made fresh. Several interesting standard sub options are available, and most are $6 for a six-incher. Bacon is thick and flavorful, not just paper thin shards. This will now be my go-to fuel stop when regularly passing this way as I'll be looking forward to the sandwich miles in advance. Nice job, Village!
