“Two years ago I purchased a Hurricane Sweetwater. It was a tough decision and to be honest, one that I regretted at first. I stopped on a lake on the way home from the shop. It was a windy day and I basically slid sideways all over the lake. It does NOT track well on its own. About a month later, I added a rudder to the boat. There are pre-drilled, threaded holes to mount the rudder as well as cable routing for foot pedals. It was an easy install and this boat is now my hands-down favorite. It is fast and maneuverable. It is also very lightweight yet stable. Standing is easy and I'm 240lbs. Love, love, love this boat. I fly fish for bass on various size lakes. I hope it comes back to Hurricane Kayaks lineup soon!!”
