Food Lion is a nice, clean grocery store with friendly staff. The store is super clean and the produce looks good. Shelves are well stocked, which is a good thing. Prices are competitive compared to other chains, though some find them too high. The store has unique items like Bullseye BBQ sauce that others do not carry. It is considered a great neighborhood store that gives back to the community. However, there was an isolated incident concerning a worker's hygiene. Overall, it is a really good store where customers can get everything they need quickly.
Food Lion Sunday in Washington. NC is where to meet everyone in Washington after Mass and Church. Polite, helpful, happy and very busy. Stocked with everything.

Did not find all products I needed at that location, but hospitality was great.
