There are some wonderful massage therapists there. I look forward to my monthly visits. I have been getting massages since the mid-1980s, so I know the difference between good massages and wonderful massages!!! I also enjoy the facials as well!!!

I had a fabulous massage with Ling and Mary Anne within a week. Both were conscientious with my wants and needs before they began. My body needed it. I went from being stressed to being totally relaxed, and I slept like a baby.

I have used this location quite a bit in the past year. My usual therapist wasn’t available so made appointment with new one. First off, the massage was great except she was clearly sick as coughing quite a bit. Where I’m disappointed is with the timing. My appointment was 15 minutes late getting started and ended right on time. When I asked at front desk rep was apologetic and was going to try and give me credit but couldn’t. She said Robin the manager would call me. Robin was not as friendly. Tried to minimize the 15 minutes to 5 and a free enhancement. She couldn’t have cared less. Is 28$ really worth the bad taste in customers mouth that’s been a member for over 25 years. Don’t be so dismissive Robin.I did try the local branch first before posting here. The reply from massage envy to go to local operation is useless as the manager there didn’t care.

Hi,My name is John Nguyen. I had an appointment with Massage Envy in Waxhaw, NC yesterday and it was an excellent experience.My therapist, Bill, was the best that I have experienced with since I had moved to the area in 2016. He was attentive and demonstrated excellent techniques. I came in with a lot of tightness in my neck, lower back and elbows. Following the session, all the tightness has gone away and has continued to be the case into today. I have already made my next appointment with Bill and is looking forward to the experience.Please pass along my thanks and compliment to Bill!!!Thanks

While the massages are good, I have had an incredibly unsatisfactory experience with the front desk. I signed a year long contract, which I was then not able to afford later. A lot of this was due to them increasing prices, a price which I did not sign on for and would not have signed up for. When I went to the office a couple months ago, I was told that I could not get out of it, even when I offered to pay a fee to get out of it. I have a feeling the lady at the front desk lied to me in order to keep me held in a contract. They have also charged me despite my account being on hold. I am incredibly unhappy with these predatory practicesUpdate: Not only did they do this, they then proceeded to double charge me! To say I am extremely unhappy is an understatement. Do not do business at all with Massage Envy, but especially not this location.

Destiny is amazing and connects well with me. She is professional and friendly. I’ve only had two sessions with her and I felt like I could connect with her and easy to talk with her. I did one 60 min and the other 90min. I can’t wait for my next session with Destiny. I definitely recommend her. Also if you want to save some get a membership to use and treat yourself.She made me feel so relaxed and applied right pressure for body as well.

I got a 60 minute massage from Kristina at Massage Envy. She was very knowledgeable and highly professional in her job. Kristina made me feel completely at ease and relaxed during the session. It was the best massage I every had. I would defiantly recommend her when booking a appointment there.

This place is a joke. The massages and facial are basic at best. They nickel and dime you for everything. Pay a monthly fee to get a better deal but if you want to hold off one month and use the massages you have saved that will cost you more. Want to transfer to someone else (which they tell you and encourage you to do) will cost you more. And my favorite is asking for a tip before the service has even happened. Also their 60 min massages are really 40 mins at best.

Poor management practices. Contracts, pricing and policies change constantly. If you don't use your monthly massages and they accrue, you will lose what you've paid for if you drop your membership. Gifting massages from membership is now very limited- where I once used my accrued massages as gifts for my staff, they began charging $10 to give them away, then limited the number each month, then limited to one gift per individual in 6months! Extremely aggravating, as I joined when the company opened in Ballantyne and the promise was that if I signed up right then, my price would not go up, which it did several times afterwards. That being said, the therapists are very good, but the turnover is high because they don't get paid enough. I was finally able to cancel my membership and will never go back or recommend.

This place has charged me for months after requesting to be out of monthly contract. I finished the year long contract and over that. They can't fit me in on a weekend every month. I asked out of my contract and they continue to charge me. Go somewhere else.

On 12/15 I called to cancel my sons 11am appointment for the facial I had scheduled. Since my son is under the age of 16 they require me go into the room with him. That morning I woke up around 10:15am after being up all night with a fever and called them immediately to cancel. I told them I was very sick (probably Covid) and I could not come in and they insisted on charging me for the spa service my son never received because they said I didn’t call 24hrs in advance. Obviously I didn’t call the day before because I was fine the day before, I started feeling sick late the night before the appointment. I would understand them charging me for the service if this is something I did on a regular basis but That is not the case. As a matter of fact I have only ever been there once for myself and I kept my appointment. I would never walk into a place of business and possibly infect everyone with Covid so I had to cancel. This is not good business and other potential customers should be aware of how incentive this establishment is and not to mention how sarcastically rude the employee was. I have also put in a BBB complaint.
