I hate going to this store but they have the lowest price on my Topo Choco 12pk Btls so I stop in on occasion. Problem is that they are most ALWAYS out of stock. I have mentioned it to several employees and no one seems to care. They told me to go to the customer service desk where I waited for 5 mins before I finally left because no one came over. I have started going elsewhere and paying more because it saves me time and aggravation.

Customer service is horrible all the way around. They NEVER answers the phone - I have to drive to the store to get simple questions answered. I waited 45 minutes in the parking lot for my order. Finally stopped the employee who was bringing orders out and told him to bring my order immediately - he finally brought my order. The rep at the Customer service desk was rude and incorrect when I proved to her that I was overcharged for an item. (By the way, Walmart has been fined heavily over the years for multiple incidents of pricing errors.) I showed her a picture of their shelf tag and the online store price which were the same. I was overcharged $1 and she tried to convince me that their online prices are always cheaper than store prices instead of acknowledging that their item was incorrectly priced. I called HQ - the rep was very nice and attempted to call the store to facilitate resolution. But of course, no one answered her call. She placed a note in the system for the Store Manager to call me - that never occurred.

I had an order that was part ship and part pick up. Very long story short, i did not pick up the pick up part. Instead of canceling it and giving me my money back they did not. I called TWICE and they said yes they would refund and did not. Filed dispute w credit card company and since it was delivered they did not refund- never looked to the pick up part that I did not pick up. I will NEVER go to this store again. They lied about refunding my money twice. All this over $32.

Love this store and live the people but to only have one cashier staffed checkout open in the middle of the day is insane. Been in line for 14 minutes and still waiting.... Unacceptable

Fairly cheap prices when stock is available. The stock levels are horrible. Always empty on many products. Checkout is terrible. 80% is self checkout of which about half are always closed. Their delivery pickup service is the worst. Always late, never ready when you book your time slot, most recent experience over 2 hours late and still waiting for an order with 8 items. Not worth the aggravation. Go to Aldi.

Usually employees are very friendly at the Walmart in Waxhaw. Stopped by the deli to pick up some lunch meat on 7/7/22 and a sign said closed for lunch. Several employees were behind the counter chatting so I asked if the deli was now open. I received a curt "no" before she returned to her personal conversation. It was 3:28 so seemed a bit late for lunch but a polite answer would have been more appropriate than acting like a customer is an annoyance. On to Food Lion or HT for my deli meat from now on.

Very poor online pick up service. This walmart has been delaying my online pick up by a day and even after that, it takes 40-60 min waiting for curbside pickup. What a hot mess! Happening two weeks straight. Clearly store manager needs to pay more attention. For me, never coming back to this store again when many grocers are competing for recurring dollars.

3 self service lines open and no individual workers on a register at 8:40 in the evening and the lines are moving slow the scanners keep jamming and no one is helping this poor worker up front come on Walmart all the money y'all make you should always have staff ready and available this is very disappointing.

Okay, let's start off by saying that this location is constantly busy, the parking can be atrocious and the parking spaces are small. So when you you get into the store, it seems everything is in front of you and there's no proper signage to guide you around. The aisle are small and the stockers are always taking up much of the aisle space so there are times when you can't get to an item and the stockers don't bother to acknowledge you. Again, the signage is problematic, confusing and hard to see. You must walk down each aisle to find what you want and honestly, don't bother asking anyone for help because they do not know. On many occasions, I've been told by associates that they don't know where anything is and I just move on, no need to make their jobs any more stressful. The shelves for popular items tend to be empty or stocked low and not replenished often. But, you'll sometimes find overstock items on the very top shelf which can't be reached; good luck finding someone to pull it down for you. I come here just for simple dry good items, no meats or other perishable items because I can find better quality at Publix or Harris Teeter. Also, checking out can be a hassle due to the aisles being narrow which doesn't leave much room for the checkout lanes which are short staffed. My advice is get in and get out.
