Wide selection, excellent produce area, delicious, personal service at the bakery counter and cents per gallon off at their gas station. Worth the slightly higher prices than their big box competitors.

Oh, I love Ingles! We don't have this grocers in Florida, but I get a smile on my face when zi see one when visiting NC! Great prices, quality food, friendly, and helpful staff. Give it a shot! Oh, and the pharmacy is wonderful!

As an out of town visitor I was blown away by the produce and deli selection. Prices were fair and selection was outstanding. Only complaint was the self checkout option wasn't good for someone buying a week's worth of groceries for two adults and two teenagers.

I would contact the owner if possible, at 6pm the meat counter is closed! The stock needed to be restocked half the shelves were empty. Never in 4 states have I seen anything like this.

I originally gave this Ingles a 5 star rating 4 years ago. I will never go back now after a horrible customer service event on Mother's Day. I went to buy sme cupcakes for my Mother-in-law & I. I got a small cake on the table marked "50% off". When I rang it up at the self-checkout, it didn't ring up properly. A manager was called, & she went to check the price. She came back & said that the sign on the table was only for cupcakes & cookies. I offered to take back the cake, but she they would do it. So I went back & got cupcakes specifically. This time, they only marked of $0.50. The same manager came & talked to me. She said that it was only cupcakes & cookies "with a red dot", & she didn't say anything about that before. When I remideher what she said , she got mad. She started raising her voice. I tried to talk to her & explain nicely how that could be confusing to slme people, & that it could be helpful to the cashiers to make the sign more detailed. She still rose her voice, started telling me that everything on the table was "put together by category ", which it wasn't. She continued berating me, so I left the cupcakes & walked out. Another customer offered to buy me the cupcakes, but I was so angry & upset at how wad treated that I said no thank you & left. I will never go back to that store again. I might get gas there, if I'm in the area, but I wl never give them my business again. It was so bad that other customers were hearing her berate me, & that is embarrassing & belittling.

Smaller but incredibly well-stocked market. Lots of parking and this store has the deli that seta Ingles apart from other grocery stores.

Ingles is a consistently poor way to shop for groceries. From high prices, convoluted self-checkout systems, and careless management, this is the last place I ever consider shopping for groceries.
