PetSmart has a lot of pet stuff. It was a little frustrating, tho, to figure out what size harness to get for our dog. We had the dog with us, but staff had no measuring tape and thus we wound up buying a harness that was definitely too large and we had to return it the next day after an additional trip. The harness tags and packing are designed so that a customer cannot (understandably) put them in their dog and just walk out, but I'm sure this situation comes up a lot, and the experience could have been better. It's simply not possible to "try on" a harness in the store.

I went to the PetSmart in waynesville NC to get 3 cat collars and to get 3 tags made and it was $80!?!?!?!?That is highway robbery. They were the cheapest cat collars and the cheapest tags that they sold there. I am not a fan, and will never, EVER, step foot inside a PetSmart ever again. .thank you PetSmart for stealing money.

I had originally come in for a nail trim for my small Havanese. He doesn't let me do them easily and I wanted to have them done professionally (ie: as short as possible) since I tend to cut them too long for fear of getting the 'quick'.The staff there seemed very friendly, although not confident in their ability to cut his nails. Despite this, in less than 5 minutes they had done his nails and mentioned that he wasn't even difficult about it. However, they did end up just grinding the nails instead of cutting and didn't take much off the length either. This wasn't really what I had wanted but was satisfied that they knew best.After leaving, I realized they had charged me for the service "trim & grind" for around $20. I was not happy with only receiving what I thought was half of this service, and was dubious of whether a quick nail grind was worth $20.I called customer service for PetSmart and they were able to get the manager of the store to talk with me about my dissatisfaction. He was very nice about it, but explained that it is not a "nail trim AND grind" service despite the description, but was only for a nail grind service that effectively trims the nails at the same time. Still $20 though. For reference, PetCo in Asheville does a nail grind service for about half this amount, so I was still unsatisfied and told him as much. He offered another nail grind free of charge to make it right, which I accepted. I felt this had resolved the problem for me as the pricing was the important factor here.The second nail grind service was far better in my estimation -- the nails were done shorter than the first visit, which was on par with my expectation of how short I had wanted them to begin with.I left feeling that they had put in the effort to make my experience a positive one when they could have done nothing and left me feeling negative about their store.

This review is on the training available and not the actual store. I signed up for 12 weeks of training. I took my dog to 2 of those sessions. Both sessions consisted of those of us in class sitting on a stool the ENTIRE HOUR and listening to the instructor. Kathy (instructor) did come to each dog in the class to demonstrate how to get your dog into a sit or leave it but as a class member you never were able to utilize these in the class setting to get advice or assistance. Almost the entire hour of the class was us sitting on a stool while she talked. I went to petsmart to get a refund so I could find a more suitable class. I spoke with the manager and she never asked me WHY I wanted a refund after taking only 2 classes but paying for 12. I would think that a business would be curious about this. If I could I would leave zero stars for the training program. The advice given and the quality of the class is competent sub par and the managers concern about customer satisfaction is non existent

Always a lovely experience. It'd be nice if they had more pet clothes/accessories but it's understandable that they have limited space to stock them at.

First time I got Eddy groomed here. Amelia was awesome!!! She did such a great job and did his beard exactly how I wanted. She was also very informative and told me what brushes I need for his hair. I mean just look how cute he is!!! Def will be back

We came here to get some supplies for a new puppy that we are adopting. The store was very clean and well organized and all of the employees were super friendly and helpful. Our cashier (I believe her name was Marti) was super sweet and personable and made our shopping experience delightful.

I went to buy some fish been I several time to buy fish. It was late 45 min before closing she was rude then went to pay the person could not read the numbers so had to call her to help. Attitude slammed the fish down and killed them . 87.00 worth of fish died in the store then she had to go get new fish and was mumbling under breath all the way back to the fish. And then didn't have the numbers the cashier couldn't ring them up so had wto call her again she wasn't happy. So for being so long. Some of the fish died a few days later she was the same person that had to swap them and told my wife it might be our water. So I checked there with the new fish. PH was low bad low. Just be careful buying fish here. For a little while.

It was my first experience with a PetSmart, but it won’t be my last! Tamara did a fantastic job. I know that my dog is very difficult, but she aced it. I’ll Be going there again . Max looks like 1 million bucks
