Ordered a vanilla sheet cake, they went above and beyond to have it ready in less than 24 hours. The buttercream frosting was good, not overly sweet, however, the cake was very dense and very dry. A big disappointment for $26

Clean, Organized, Modern. I visited this location many times during my stay in the area and got everything I needed. I've been to other Publix locations across the US and this one I found to be an awesome location. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Overall, pretty satisfied.

Don't place a special order for a grocery item here. I took a label of the exact item. I wanted to order 6 cases, 72 total. The girl that took the order DID NOT write down the flavor, size or even the UPC. Same item comes in flavors and cans versus bottles. After 9 days I called the store to inquire of the order. I talked to the man who handles the special order grocery items. I told him the flavor and it was for bottles; not cans. He told me it was a vendor stocked item and that he would speak with him about it. 3 days later they called and said it was ready for pickup. Made a trip to the store and it was cans they had. So I canceled the order altogether. Publix was started in florida and as far as I am concerned can go back there.

This is our weekly stop for grocery shopping and it still our favorite in Waynesville. Very easy to access off the Smokey mountain expressway. I think the prices are better than Ingles. Really friendly people work there as well and when you're regulars like we are, you always get a friendly smile. Oh, and they have $5 sushi specials on Wednesdays!

I would honestly give Publix 5 stars if I weren't a cheapskate. The fresh made food options in the store are phenomenal! However the normal items that are in every other store are much much higher than every other store. Example: Mary B's frozen biscuits, $6.99 compared to $4.29/$5.13. Definitely try their fresh sushi and in store made options :)

Located on Frazier Street in Waynesville, North Carolina, the Publix at Waynesville Pavilion is well-stocked and clean. The employees were friendly. This location has a drive thru pharmacy if needed. As you enter the store, they gave some floats/tubes, table umbrellas, etc. which is helpful for vacationers who need those items. They have a great selection of wines and beers. They also have firewood at the front of the store next to the restrooms. If you are used to shopping at Publix, the store has similar layout and offerings as other Publix stores.

DO NOT use the Publix Floral Dept! We ordered flowers for a wedding. When we arrived to pick them up, no one knew where the flower orders were kept. We went to Ingles and got much better quality flowers than what we saw in stock at Publix. They were also fresher and a huge selection. Ingles saved the day!

Clean, well stocked, good variety! No major complaints about the store at all- I just wish they had wifi since the store is a major dead zone, so I could look up recipes and shopping lists online while in the store!

Highly over rated. The portions we very small and the price $65 per person is ridiculous. Out of the 8 dishes they serve 2 out of 8 were good. I would not waste my time to go for the prices they serve. The service was excellent.

Love this store. I used to live in FL so finding a Pub Sub up here absolutely made my day! As always it was delicious and in my excitement I set down my wallet and forgot it. Someone was kind enough to return it to the front desk thankfully. When I called they checked and let me know they had it, I picked it up and was thrilled to see my cash was still there :-) very friendly staff, have been pleasant upon each return trip. Bathrooms were clean, store is clean, no complaints!

Great store. Very clean, employees are all so very helpful and polite. Prices are high, but for me, it's worth it not having to deal with overcrowding and rudeness you find in other places.

Being from Florida where there's a publix every other block, this has to be one of the biggest and nicest one I have been to. The shelves are always perfectly faced and neat. The customer service is also outstanding. Every employee I walked past, greeted and asked how I was doing. Definitely worth the long drive.They stand by their motto because shopping here is a pleasure ?

I recently worked with John in the catering department to help with our family Christmas dinner. He was beyond helpful, answering all of my questions and offering great advice. The ordering process was easy and efficient, pick up was a breeze and the food was amazing. We got so many compliments. 10/10 recommend using this service to save time and stress during the holidays. We will be using again for events in the future!
