This branch is terribly understaffed. Afternoon, beginning of the week and there is one banker that can help 4 people waiting in line in need of financial services. I spent of 30 minutes on the phone just to findnoit what items I needed to bring to the meeting. I unfortunately have a mortgage that was sold to this bank. I would never put my money there. Very unprofessional and obviously poorly managed.

I am convinced this organization doesn't want customers. Branch impossible to reach by phone. Visits nothing short of painful. Poor customer service, unacceptable wait times. Unreasonable hoops for simple transactions. Save yourself lots of frustration, go elsewhere.

The drive-thru doesn't move much at all. My usual wait time is about 10 minutes or more to get anything done. Either there's way too much policy in place that the tellers have to go through before completing a transaction AND/OR there's not enough policy in place and people are conducting more than one-three transactions at a time. In one particular instance, I saw a business owner at the drive-thru window with several deposits. Including thick deposits and large amounts of cash. Large transactions should be brought inside the bank. Worst wait tomes that I have experienced are definitely here. YOU KNOW ITS BAD WHEN UOU HAVE TO TURN YOUR CAR OFF!!! Today I waited 15 minutes to get to teller window. I then waited 5-6 more minutes to talk to the teller.

The staff are great at this location, although Corporate does not value it's customers at all !!! Many times over the last year or so I have had to wait tooooooo long in line. Do not choose to bank here, at least until they staff it adequately.

Worst experience ever!!!!My check was not accepted by another bank. I attempted an electronic funds transfer which was one of the contact number menu options. No, you must go to a branch which is 35 minutes away due to closing the local BB&T. I am still on hold at the Waynesville Branch after 40 minutes, still no one to pick up the phone. I am hanging up now. Do not use this "clown car" bank. I am closing my account!!!!

Drive thru is the slowest in town! They need to hire more staff. The ladies are pleasant but they need more staff working the outside.

We've had a rough time with Truist since opening a small business account at BB&T prior to the merger. However, the employees have been through the ringer too and we LOVE the employees at this location. They're always great. I've never had a long wait at the indoor or drive-thru teller lines and the bankers are always very professional.

If I could give zero stars i would!!! Worst bank ever. Put money in atm and it shut down. They would not help and was very rude when I tried to get help. They have the worst service. I would not use the ATM AT ALL AT THIS LOCATION!!!! When you leave an important message over the weekend they don't even bother to call you back.

About a year ago, unbeknownst to me, my auto loan was sold to SunTrust. One month later it became Truist. The transition did not go smoothly and the computer systems wouldn't communicate, etc. But the employees were kind and professional. And I really appreciate that they are open on Saturdays!

Customer service is awful. Unable to speak with banker and sat for 20 minutes in lobby attempting to speak to my banker and was never even acknowledged.

Terrible, terrible experience. We got a small loan back in February and still cannot get it worked out. My husband has spent 6 different days and a total of over 12 hours at the branch and the manager can't even seem to help us. Different amounts coming out every month, on auto draft but we continuously get late notices and nothing is late. I don't think funds are being appropriately put in the right spots and they had thousands missing from our account and couldn't figure it out. Currently been on hold for over 90 minutes with the national branch and they aren't being helpful either. Here it is October and we still cannot get answers and we don't have anymore time to go keep sitting up there waiting for help. They keep blaming it on the "merger" but no one will actually help you! So extremely disappointing.

Merger has been the WORSE experience in banking we have ever had! Drive thru never has more than one teller and we wait for 20+ minutes waiting for service. Inside service is no better. Have tried coming at different times to see if it would improve service but it’s always the same. Give us back our old BB&T!!!! Guess it’s time to look at other banks. Downtown Waynesville is wonderful Main street to visit but is nightmare with traffic for banking!!
