Today while at this location the cashier and young man bagging groceries were having banter back and forth. She proceeds to look at me and apologize for him being a little slow in the brain. We a parent of a special needs child I take great offense to this behavior.

Waited for more than 30 minutes for my Food Lion To Go Order. Called when I arrived and was told my order would be out shortly. 30 minutes later called back twice no one answered then a man came out (without my order) asked for my name and then said he would be back in a few (more) minutes with my order. He never apologized, seemed concerned or even responded when I told him how long I had been there. Finally, I asked for the manager, and he was friendly and apologized for the wait and mentioned they were having issues with their phone lines. However, I called more than 30 minutes prior and spoke with a lady who told me she would "take care of it." So the phone line issues wasn't applicable to me being there for almost 40 mins. The manager told me he would "get to the bottom of the issue." Not sure I'll be returning to this location again.

The first thing you notice is how much space is in the grocery store. It's one of the largest Food Lion grocery stores I have seen. There is a huge produce section with all types of vegetables and fruits. There is a chicken wings hot bar that serves wings with different flavors. You can also find Rao's homemade pasta sauce one of the better tasting sauces. The Food Lion price for the sauce is the best deal you'll find for that brand of pasta sauce. Food Lion recently started selling Icelandic Glacial water. It's one of the best bottled waters sold. It tast so clean and refreshing. Food Lion at Wesley Chapel is well worth stopping in and shopping for your groceries.

I feel compelled to write a review about this Food Lion location because it is THAT nice!! Wow!! I’m normally a Publix shopper, but I gave this location a try, and dare I say… this challenges publix?! It also completely blows the grocery store (that shall remain nameless across the street) out of the water. It’s so so nice inside. Everything is super clean, bright, and the aisles are super organized. Items are well stocked, neatly in their place. I just love it here, and I really hope they work to continue the nice aesthetics because as long as they do, I’m a converted Food Lion shopper!

I have to say the cashier at self check out went way above and beyond what she had to do the night I was in there as it was closing time. She didn't have to help me. However, she rang up my entire order for me and was so kind! That is the kind of customer service all stores need! I wish I could remember her name!

We were skeptical when we heard Food Lion was coming to Wesley Chapel. Honestly never one of our family’s favorite stores to shop at, but we gave them a chance. So glad we did! This store is great…always clean, well stocked, love their organic options and their staff is so friendly and generous. We look forward to shopping here every week and we are Food Lion converts!

Why do the employees feel the need to smoke right next to the entrance? The customer should not have to be exposed to cigarettes, pipes, just to by groceries. Isn't there a back door that is available to the employees to use for the obviously needed tobacco fix?
