“One of the best experiences I’ve had! I recently called fullwood to inquire about my dog & her red, swollen eye. We originally called our dogs normal vet & they couldn’t see us for 3 weeks but told us our dogs issues was extremely urgent. I submitted an online request for an appointment with Fullwood because my mom brings her cat here & has amazing things to say. Within 4 minutes of submitted my online request, I had someone from here calling me & getting me an appointment in the next 48 hrs! (I’m convinced it would have been sooner if we weren’t about to get a ton of snow!)
Upon arrival, they were very Accommodating of my dog being reactive to other pets & got is an exam room immediately to wait so we didn’t encounter other pets. They built trust with her immediately & were so gentle & kind. They made me feel comfortable asking all of my probably annoying & overbearing dog mom questions. I will no longer be taking my dogs to any other vet other than full wood, the 45 minute drive is so worth my dogs getting the best & quickest treatment!”
“Dr. Jones is so gentle in his actions and his voice that my little yorkie never hesitates to have him treat her, even though with other people she usually trembles and shies away. His entire staff is efficient and welcoming. And I appreciate that they always follow up to check on her condition after a visit. “My sincerest gratitude to Dr. Boniface for her knowledge and guidance for my 6 yo Standard Poodle Betty. I came to this facility based on reviews alone and they did not disappoint. Hydrotherapy and diet change were the suggestions for Betty based on her initial appointment. This big girl came in at 80lbs and is now 74.4 and playing like a 2 year old again.
A special shout out to Danielle whose work in the equestrian field probably helped with our mini horse.

“They’ve been great with our adopted German Shepherd who can be quite timid at the vet. Our previous vet was so rude about our dog and gave me anxiety just bringing her in. Glad to have found Weddington instead.
We also had to put down our 15 year old dog and they were phenomenal. Took their time letting me have a moment, gave him a final treat of chocolate and cookies (all the things he never got to have), took paw print molds. So kind and understanding.”

She was complimentary of my dog. Even the little things she did like kneel down to get to eye level with me while I was sitting on the bench go a long way. “This is the best place! I’ve been using this vet over 30 years when originally owned by Dr. Glenn! The quality of service has carried on through our many fur babies & we now see Dr. Wolfe, who is absolutely awesome. Yesterday, our Elvis needed emergency attention due to a small injury & we called, communicated with Dr. Slusky. I texted photos & she provided his meds & provided appt this am which saved us an ER appt. While I normally like to see Dr. Wolfe, Dr. Slusky was also awesome! However, the vet tech was so wonderful! Due to Elvis’ injury, he was unable to wear his collar or harness so I had to carry him in a crate. Ive had some health issues & she toted him back to the room. She also offered to tote him to my car & I offered to tip her. In a tip crazy world, she certainly deserved it. Everyone from the front desk to anyone I spoke to was kind & compassionate. One more thing, when I picked up the meds, I was telling them how fussy Elvis is about taking his meds. When I went to pick up Elvis’ meds, Abby told me to hide it in a small piece of cream cheese - this has been the best tip ever!! While my fur babies (we have 3)don’t like to go the dr, I know they are in great hands at ITAH! Thank you everyone! Highly recommend these guys!!”
“What I like about these folks at Providence South Animal Hospital mainly is how they treat me and my pet like we actually matter to them. They have gone out of their way several times to ensure my dog (who has terrible allergies) gets the meds she needs to keep those allergies in check. They were kind and non-judgmental when I missed giving Pinky her heartworm meds, they just took it in stride without lecturing me. We got her back on track and that was that. Also, when my truck wouldn’t start last winter when it was in the teens and I had to reschedule literally 5 minutes before the appointment was to start-the staff was chill about it and didn’t make me feel terrible about wasting their time and missing the appointment.
It’s things like that that give me good vibes every time I drive past their doggie mailbox.”

“Dr Greg Wood is an outstanding veterinarian. He is upfront and honest about your pets health. We had a geriatric cat that had become ill at the end of his life. He gave us the best advice and was very honest about expectations. He guided us through the whole process. All the way through to his final minutes. We are devastated but we knew what we were up against because Dr. Wood is honest and we were informed. You could not ask for a better veterinarian in the Charlotte area.”

She has a long list of health issues and I was terrified for her to undergo anesthesia. However, Dr. Reynolds and her team were extremely kind, caring and compassionate and kept me updated every step of the way. My baby soared through her dental/extractions without any complications and I will be forever grateful to them for taking such amazing care of her!”
