I just love this Dollar General. I especially love the employers. They are overly helpful and go out of their way to help you. Paige, is definitely one of my favorites, but they are all helpful. Love these people and the store, itself. Everything is so easy to find and it's sooo organized.

This is the worst Dollar General I have ever been in. The manager is by far the most unprofessional associate I have seen. This store is disgusting and a mess. I now shop the Dollar General on hwy 211 between West End and Pinehurst. Totally different experience. Save yourself the frustration and drive 5 min up the road.

For starters, we all know this Dollar general is terrible. It very rarely has anything that you need and is constantly dirty. However, it has never made me leave a review before. I can deal with all of that because I know that it is a busy store and they are short staffed. This instance that happened to me this morning is what I cannot deal with. I was on my way to take my pets to the vet and I realized that my smallest dog did not have on his collar. I pulled up at Dollar general and tried to contain my dogs so that I could get out and run in and get him a collar. The lady that was there who I believe is a manager looks at me and said we're not open yet. She was pulling stuff out of the store and she was talking on the phone. She said we still have 4 minutes before we open. Once the store did open she continued to talk on the phone and never once said good morning or apologized. I understand working conditions and I understand staffing and I understand that it's hard to keep a store stocked and clean due to the times that we are living in. However at the very least teach your associates to appreciate my business thank you

If I could give them a zero I would purchase pride on the shelf tag was 9.00 it rang at 9.95 . Clerk said they were short staffed and hadn’t changed the prices on the shelf and refused to honor the shelf price. Apparently they had enough staff to update the prices in the Register. I have never had a store not honor a shelf price if the register rang a higher amount I Will NEVER shop here again . Buyer beware !!

Another day not open on time works showing up 30 mins to more late to open. Never stoked on certain ideas. Only clean once in a while.

Updated review I can no longer shop at dollar general.. The store stays in a total mess now empty stock carts everywhere full carts everywhere boxes on the floor toys on the floor a total mess. I stopped going there about 4 months ago. I only go if I absolutelyneed something they have now.. Good prices new staff only high turn over but nice people.

For this to be a west-end store I’m super in shocked of how ran down it is the parking lot is terrible there was no cashier available there where no buggies to use at all I had to walk back outside just to get one, and most of the employees where on the floor stocking and didn’t care to help you with any questions and some had headphones in for some of the employees and on their phones the whole time I was there off and on they did not greet me as well when I walked in or out like most stores do the inside of the store has hardly anything in stock that you actually need so it was a real waste of my time. not coming back to this store anymore!

First of all I want to say I love dollar general stores. But I went in this store this evening and was going to buy bananas. The cashier told me she COULDN'T sell me just bananas. That I had to buy something else. What the heck?? No sense. So I left without the bananas, I will not go in that store again
