    “I've been using Seven Lakes Prescription Shoppe for several months now. They are a compounding pharmacy and make a special medication for me. They use UPS to mail to me, so it is very convenient. It was very easy to call and set up the first prescription, and the staff was very friendly. Then, with future refills, all I need to do is enter the prescription number in the automated system, and it's processed and sent to me within days. I've been very happy with Seven Lakes Prescription Shoppe.”

    “Great pharmacy. People are very nice there. My DR ordered a new medication and sent it to my regular chain pharmacy. I went to go pick it up 2 hrs later and I was told they would not have it till later the next day. I called Quality Care Pharmacy here in town. They said I could pick my med up in an hour. Not only that, they took care of getting the doctor's prescription and canceled my order from the other chain pharmacy. They did it all and I did not have to do a thing. Now that is what I call hometown customer service. I was a number in the chain pharmacy but I was a person and cared about at Quality Care Pharmacy.”

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
