“I just read the review from {Joan Jenkins} not her real name.Let me tell what really happen. Mrs. M called me and askedWhat is the biggest TV we sell, I told her that Sony had the 85"sets on special. That the new models were out and there wasa promo price. She asked me if we install and how much.I told her that we have two great young men that work withus, not for us that install TV's. I told her the same that I tellall my customers "around $150.00 all according to what heruns into" She said that it was going on the wall, she did notsay anything about it going over the fireplace. Mrs. M saidthat she would like to order the 85" Sony. At the end ofthe conversation she said that she would like to get aSony 43" for her bedroom. We when ahead and ordered theTV's. When the first one came in I asked if she wanted itbefore the 85 Sony came in, she said no-because she didnot want to pay two delivery charges. When the big Sonycame in I called her .That is when I heard that the 85" TVwas going over the fireplace. Over the fireplace is a wholeother animal !!. It would take two men and two step ladders.The installer came by to pick up the two TV's but told methat he could not get a helper till the next day. We spokeand he said that he would deliver the two TV's anyway andinstall the small one. After he installed the first one andpicked up all the packing and the old TV he told her thathe would be back the next day with the helper. Mrs. Mtold him that she was only going to pay $150.00 for thetwo installs and both men. She told him she was not goingto pay for the first install. When he got back to the officewe talked, and then I spoked to Mrs. M. I told her that itwas unfair to expect the young man to deliver two TV'sto her home, set them in place, install the small oneon the wall, get a helper, intall a 85" Sony over thefireplace, take the two old tv's to the dump all for$150.00. She told me that is all she is going topay. I told Mrs. M that I personally would pay thedifference.I told her that I would talk to the installerand get back with her. The next day I spoked to theinstaller and he said that he would install the tv asa favor to me as soon as he got back to town.Mrs.M never gave me a chance to work it out, thenext thing I see is she is trashing us.October will make 50 years in business, 18 in WestJefferson.
