Very unprofessional management. Shane Clearly Interviewed me for assisted credit manager, starting out at 15 an hour at the Wilkesboro location. However when I received my first paycheck the hourly rate was not what myself and Shane had talked about and agreed to. When I confronted Shane about the pay difference he said it’s because I was hired a delivery driver but during the interview I never once showed any interest in that position. So during the hiring process I never received nor signed an offer letter from the company but according to Shane I did. Usually most companies send you an offer letter via email and bestway definitely did not send me one. Instead arguing with Shane about I decided to go over his head and his bosses head to handle this situation. During my interview with Shane I specifically told him twice that I was taking a big pay cut to come work there so I could have a shorter commute to work. So with that being said why on earth would I accept that type of hourly rate I would still make more money making a longer commute than working for 12 an hour. In my short time working with Shane I can say with a doubt that he is a dishonest man that doesn’t know a thing about managing a store or managing employees and customers. The store is a complete mess and Shane and his employee currently there are very unprofessional and rude. I have worked retail and sales my entire working career and that store is probably one of the worst I have seen. If you need affordable furniture in the Wilkes area I would suggest looking at Aaron’s and big lots you will actually get clean furniture and better customer service there.

Great place to rent from andeasy to get what u need at affordable prices id say there better then aarons and rent a center they have more options on the entire stock and not just certain items

I love these people without bestway I would not be able to afford anything good to have in my house they are so nice and polite and as long as you do what you say you're going to do and pay your bills they will work with you and help you in any way that they can I will never go anywhere other than best way. If you can't afford to buy furniture and stuff straight out bestway is the best way to go. Thank you Bestway staff

This place is terrible. I was using this as a credit builder, a manger named Colby was extremely rude and Im surprised he has a job. I pay weekly payments using the auto pay feature. Well, I get weekly deposits from my job and can prove this since I receive digital stubs. They tend to not process my payment weekly but every two weeks, then charge me a late fee. I have called and the manager Colby is so rude its unreal. I was one week late due to them not pulling the money from my account, which had the sufficient funds, which i can also prove, at that point he calls my references after just one week, and told my refrences he would be pressing charges on me if I didnt make the payment. He never tried to make contact with me but harassed my reference. This has happen repeatedly, the system doesnt pull the money i clearly have in my account so the manager threatens the police? Its obvious he also doesnt know the law. I have spoke to an attorney, and i will not deal with the my money being taken due to his mistake, i will not deal with the harassment to my refrences or the threats to have me arrested. Someone get this place under control before you guys face litigation or someone really does press charges on your very unprofessional manager for harassment. I have kept everything documented including the recorded conversation of the phone call, my payments records, recipt ID, etc.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CARD INFORMATION!!!For the 4th time they have ran a card for a payment without permission. I was told my card would not be stored because of previous issues with unauthorized payments. Instead of throwing away a paper the number was written on they entered saved and set it as reoccuring; none of which were authorized. I spoke with shane on the matter who basically stated it was on me for being late one month during a pandemic. I havent been late since recieveing the items in febuary. At the very minimum i would expect a courtesy call or text but no, i had to find out from my bank where 200 dollars mysteriously vanished to. Turns out this habit of pulling payments without consent hasnt just occured with myself, and i remind you ive been with bestway for almost 6 years yet this continues happening. After this agreement of payments i will never come back and i urge the same from everyone do not give them card information EVER.

This place does not aim for excellent customer service. I received a $1,050 speaker from my mother for Christmas that I called to see if I could get store credit for to purchase a refrigerator, and I was told they do not accept returns; all sales are final, and no store credit would be given because it was over 7 days after the purchase.

These people are thieves literally. I paid with my debit card before now they just literally steal my money from me. Last month they took a payment that was due but also took one that wasnt even due yet. Plus jacking up the payment 10 dollars for no reason. I told them to stop before, they said they would now they are back at it. Why cant i just call the cops? Idk but looks like if i told them to stop taking money without my permission and they still do, seems like a crime not civil.
